Varak smiles a toothy grin as both opponents come closer to him, just within his grasp. His greed provides his downfall as he slices his own arm with his blade.

Harressh grunts as the glaive strikes him. He straightens to his full height, then quivers for a moment. Fire and light flash from his scales, burning both adjacent enemies. He follows up by breathing a short blast of frost from his jaws, chilling the scimitar wielder slightly. As the motes of ice swirl and settle, Harressh is suddenly gone, reappearing on the other side of the glaive-wielding leader. He spits another ball of ice and guides it with the staff at the prone hobgoblin, but it dissipates in the air before reaching its target.

Not that it matters, but ranged attacks against nonadjacent prone targets don't grant you CA, in fact they actually get a +2 to defenses against them [/sblock]
Vistrathis was getting very annoyed at the glaive-wielding hobgoblin's incessant stabbing and dragging of his body across the cavern floor. Taking a momentary breather, the swordmage can feel his cloak pulling at his core energy, healing his wounds, but leaving him a little bit more tired than he was before this fight began. Keeping an eye, and magical markings, on the glaive-wielder, Vistrathis waits patiently on the sidelines for one of the hobgoblins to make a mistake that he could exploit.
White Eye continues her defensive crouch, though her good eye glares at the enemies around her. Haltor's bleeding increases dramatically...
Alex to the rescue! the wizard hurries around the far side away from the hobgoblins and patches up Haltor.
The scimitar wielder charges forward, attempting to punish the wizard, but instead finds himself teleported next to the glaive-wielder, but unable to stop the momentum and stabs the other hobgoblin.
The glaive wielder swears at the scimitar wielder and slashes around wildly, but perhaps the pain of the blow sets his aim off as only Alex feels the pain.
