[Adventure] The Cannith Caper (Judge: THB)

[sblock=ooc]

1) R1, I think you may have forgotten to place Vistrathis in your OOC post showing initiatives, so I'm not sure when I was supposed to go. Since we are posting in order, I'll need to know if I go before or after Harresh.

2) Since my instructions were to protect the first bit of damage, I'll stick with it. Eliminate the 8 damage done to Haltor by the device. [/sblock]

Kal - we'll use the free-form initiative this time, so it'll be in post order. You can go before Harresh or after as ryry hasn't posted actions yet. That post was only the status of damage done so far. [/sblock]

Harressh grunts as lightning from the device lashes him. "All right, you asked for it," he growls, rushing forward, and rending the thing with both claws after tucking his staff under an armpit. Bits of wire and crystal fly in all directions.

[sblock=Actions]Move: to AN47
Standard: Athletics vs. Device (1d20+11=21) That's the 5th success I believe.[/sblock]

Harresh's assault finally disrupts the machine, you notice that the constructs seem less swift now, but they still seem to be deadly.

The warforged now suffer a variety or penalties and won't gain any thp's at start of their turns [/sblock]

[sblock=R1]Can I target a different warforged with my shroud? Since the warforged I had shrouded was killed by my initial attack, I wouldn't have shrouded it, and I shrouded clearly after the initial attack. I would have shrouded WF20 instead.[/sblock]

Seeing the enemies surround him and Varak, Haltor calls over his shoulder, Magic this thing down, we've got company! Patting White Eye on the shoulder, the halfling coos a few reassuring words before gathering breath himself. With a flick, the halfling slices deep into the decrepit warforged while White Eye dances back, and then, in a blink, he rushes the larger brute that fell Varak. His low slash unbalances the larger foe who falls to the floor! White Eye claws at the fallen warforged ineffectually

1d20+9=15 miss [/sblock]

The half-orc finds himself surrounded by enemies and lying on his back. The half-orc forgets his instructions seeing the pulse of lightning going through the cords of the arcane device and slashes out with his remaining blade. The blade cuts the pieces of wire he had meant to rip out.

The barbarian stands up, and draws his second blade, slashing with a whirlwind of blades against his foes that surround him, and drawing alchemical blood against all foes. Two of the foes fall, and the half-orc rolls and spins toward a foe further away. One of his blades finds it's mark, cutting into the gut of the warforged enemy. Standing tall, the barbarian is ready for more.

I put you in AM47 and doing the 3 damage to WF20 as WF18 is dead [/sblock]

Varis uses lightning sword like a tuning fork as a electic wind rises, disrupting the machines working and revitalizes the barbarian ally.

Harressh grunts as lightning from the device lashes him. "All right, you asked for it," he growls, rushing forward, and rending the thing with both claws after tucking his staff under an armpit. Bits of wire and crystal fly in all directions.

Everyone goes first. Would you guys prefer a more free-formed Initiative style? I.e. the common Mal's Rules method. I'm indifferent. Regardless you all go first.

Terrain: Rubble on the floor is difficult terrain

Haltor; Vist, Alex, Harresh, Varak, enemies (1d20+6=17, 1d20+6=10, 1d20+4=21, 1d20+4=23, 1d20+8=24, 1d20+5=10) <- I rolled for Alex instead of Varis, still go first[/sblock]
