[Adventure] The Darkest Night (DM: johnmeier1, Judge: Ozymandias79)

OOC: Alright then!

Sheng crouches near Murphy. He's in worst shape than Dextyr, so it requires additional meassures. With his open palm and streched out fingers, Sheng tries to find Murphy's chakras, and then, in a flash of a move, pierces his belly with his long nailed index finger! The blood flowing from his wonds stops dry.

Heal: 21

As Sheng moves away from the crocodile, Shorrin bashes it on the head and menaces it with his hammer. The beast eyes him warily and does not lunge at Sheng's back as he moves over to Murphy.

[sblock=OOC] Okay, only Saraz left to go. Murphy was stabilized after his turn (due to Mal rules). I am going to need a death save from Janus I think too.[/sblock]

The crocodile is barely surviving. It lunges at the opening left by Shorrin, confused and not seeing Saraz. The reptile bites him around the midsection, ripping out flesh. Shorrin falls to the swampy ground, bleeding. The greatly injured creature slithers back into the swamp.

[sblock=OOC] Okay, there is still a hungry crocodile out there. Saraz didn't quite kill it, so it knocked Shorrin to 0hp 1d20+12=29 for 1d8+4=10 damage. It then hides with a 17 Stealth. If Murphy spent his Second Wind with Sheng's Heal check, he is up at 11 hp. Only now Janus and Shorrin are dying, while I need another roll from Janus this last turn, there is the status:

Shorrin 0hp dying (0/3)
Murphy 11hp enemies that hit with melee take +1d6, Twin in M17
Janus -1hp dying (1/3), Dragonling in H19
Dextyr -5hp unconscious
Sheng 5hp bloodied
Saraz 4hp bloodied

Visejaw Crocodile Stealth 17

Remember that you can ready an action! No map, I will give you that anybody can get adjacent to another character with a move action.

Sheng is unable to spot the crocodile, he gets into his mist again and gets a defensive stance.

OOC: Who hit me? Sheng was at 11 hp last time. Going into the deep shroud, and with total defense. Perception 13

Saraz slows her breathing and closes her eyes quieting her thoughts.

Walling out the noise of the excited minds of injured and dying party members she listens for the animalistic thoughts of the croc. Finding it she uses the last of her built up psionic energies pushing into the croc's mind trying to extinguish it's thoughts.

[sblock="OOC"]
Perception to see Croc (1d20+7=19)

I assume that means she gets to attack it.

Memory Hole (Augment 2) vs. Croc's Will (1d20+10=25, 2d6+7=14)

if not save it for a readied action
[/sblock]

Saraz looks out at the water and with no motion at all causes the crocodile to spasm out of it, lying lifeless on top of the water.

[sblock=OOC] Final stats for the fight:
Name HP HS
Shorrin 0/50 11/13
Murphy 11/45 3/8
Janus -1/34 2/7
Dextyr -5/43 5/10
Sheng 5/47 7/8
Saraz 4/38 6/6

Voda Vosa, here was a hit for 11 damage to Sheng, I think we had been subtracting your Resist 5 poison separately or twice, but my tracking took it into account every time.

XP and Gold to come soon...
