(Adventure) The Island of Varras'zul (Manzanita Judging) (Concluded)

Dropping yet another of his weapons to the ground, Rasereit was now bare-handed. He was unpreturbed his lack of weaponry, however. The stalwart dwarf slammed his body against the Xorn's, moving the creature toward the direction of Scun so as to increase the force of Scun's blow. (Attack: 6 +4 +2= 12)

ooc: Scun has a +2 circumstance bonus to hit.

Ogrin's turn.

Still wary about the creature, Ogrin lets another bullet fly after manuevering into a favorable position. "Watch out, it might snap out of any second!"

Stepping clear of Rasereit, Ogrin let loose a bullet from his sling. Like Ogrin's previous attempt this bullet bounced off the creature's armored hide, damaged and unusable. (Attack: 18 +6 -4 =20)

ooc: speeding up the process. If this is not what Scun will do, I'll edit it.

Made a mistake. Being blind and being stunned do not give a +4 bonus to hit, but a -4 penalty to AC. It doesn't change the end result but it does change what bonuses are received.

Scun attacked the creature once again, throwing a barrage of crushing strikes upon its armored form. (Attack: 13 +4 +2 =19). Despite the aid given by Rasereit, Scun was still unable to penetrate the creature's tough hide. Scun felt that the blow would've bypassed the armor, were it not for a wince from the Xorn. Despite the fact that it was stunned, it seemed to have regained its sense of sight.

The Xorn continued to stand there, capable of a minimum of self-defense.

Rillian's Turn

Before he was overcome by his wounds, Rillian stabbed at the creature's skin. He did not open a wound, but left small crack for Scun to take advantage of. (Attack: 14 +3 =17)

With that, he collapsed to the floor.

OOC: I don't know when I'll be posting again for a few days, so I'm going to take the initiative and post now. Put it in right after Mona, if you please. If my init. count comes up, just NPC me until I report in.

Not discouraged by the failure of Scun's attack, Rasereit continues to use his bulk and strength to further distract the disoriented earth-thing.

Nezrak again quickly thanks Mona while he gets up. Again. It's obvious that he's getting tired of this too. Seeing that the creature has a rather bad habit of resisting pounding, Nezrak moves a bit to ready himself to cast another spell. "Rasereit, can't you just pin that thing down like you did with the Memphit?"

OOC: Get up, move to T13.

As Nezrak approached the Xorn, Rasereit distracted it again with his bulk. (Attack: 10 +4 =14). He pushed toward Scun once more, lending the half-orc more power to his swing.

ooc: Scun has a +4 total circumstance bonus to hit

Ogrin's turn

Mongrel seemed to have heard the halfling's prayer, for the bullet struck true and buried itself deep into the Xorn. Not only was it a lucky hit but one that struck the Xorn's vitals, evidenced by a spurt of a greenish fluid that came from its maw. (Attack: natural 20, Crit: 7 +6 -4 =9, Damage: 3 +4 +2 =9).

ooc: once again, assuming that Scun will do little else but attack. feel free to inform me if you had planned something else.

Scun followed Ogrin's attack with a swing of his own, using the aid given by his comrades to strengthen his blow. He attacked the crack that Rillian made, creating an ugly dent in the Xorn's armor. (Attack: 16 +4 +4 =24, Damage: 1 +4 =5). Scun hammered the area with his club causing the Xorn's legs to give way. It collapsed, unconscious from the party's vicious attacks.
