OOC: Shouldn't hunger of hadar end since necro didn't maintain it?
OOC: He's taken a minor action to sustain it every round, unless I made a horrendous mistake. If you can point me to the post where he didn't sustain it, I'll be making my apologies/fixes.


"Stay down!" shouts Orsik and sketches fiery rune in the air with his maul before slamming it into the zombie.

Maul flares with bright radiant energy blinding the zombie. With a terrible shriek it drops to the ground and its body slowly disintegrates.

Serris strikes at the foe in front of him, bringing spirit back to his fallen comrade as he slays the wretched creature. Then he moves forward to stand over Mythra, threatening the zombie.
"Get back, Mythra."

"I'll tell you one thing." Grys shouts out. "For a bunch of stupid undead, these guys sure fight as if they were being controlled by an external force. Their moves are choreographed and near perfect."

"'Why, thank you" the necromancer chips in, sounding rather nonplussed, before breaking into a crooked grin. "I didn't expect you to be so appreciative. If only you'd come at a better time, I could have shown you the dance we've been practicing..."

"Not to be critical in a situation like this Serris, but the last time you healed Mythra, he just fell over again without even trying to do anything. Is there any way you can get over here? I can eventually kill this b**stard if you can heal me." Grys says conversationally through the pain, as he flourishes his sword, wounding the zombie to his rear and instantly slaying one of the slobbering corpses that are crowding him.

Orsik takes 2d10 damage as he enters the Hunger of Hadar zone: 2d10=15, reduced to 13 by his DR

kal'Tarron's action is moot since Orsik's action destroyed the zombie.

Mythra is conscious again with 3 hp. There is a torch holder in B7 (that's the thing on the map) but there's room for Mythra to occupy the square as well. So yes, he can move/teleport there, line of sight issues notwithstanding.

Mythra and kal'Tarron to go, and Orsik to take an AP action, then the enemies' turn.[/sblock]

On teleporting: Line of Sight is required. PHB pg.286. You don't need Line of Effect but you do need Line of Sight. Unless this got changed in errata and I somehow missed it.

OOC: No, it's my mistake (again) - I missed move to minor, U just read spent minor on the curse. I'll retcon AP so Mythra gets some extra healing. KarinsDad, can you come closer one square?

Also, DR does not apply to Orsik only to allies unless I'm reading something wrong? But there is endure pain which reduces the damage - hm, but only for the attack so not...

Could I use bull rush to move the zombie one square and move into that square? So I get out of the zone and put some buffer between mythra and combat (and set us up from another burst :p

If not, rune of mending to Mythra for surge +4 and everyone gets +1 to defenses (protection) - if Mythra has no more surges then healing on self

[sblock=OOC]MetaVoid - thanks for the honesty on Protection runestate, thought it was you and all adjacent allies but you're right, it's only for allies. I'll fix Orsik's hp total in the next update.

You'd have to move into Serris's square in order to initiate the Bull Rush, which isn't possible. So that won't work. Mythra has surges so I'll go with that option; Mythra will be on 16 hp at the start of his turn.

rb780nm: that's fine. You want to stop right outside the Hunger (E8), right? Not actually go into it this turn? I'll assume that's correct if I don't hear from you by the time I'm updating.

Luinnar: No, the Hunger occupies B8-D10, C7 is clear. It's a standard burst 1 zone centred in C9, it's only circular on the map because I couldn't find any decent looking overlay for a square zone. ;) Sorry for any confusion.[/sblock]
 

OOC: We'll need to wait to heal Grys. He has to stay on top of the necro. Grys'll probably fall this round, but c'est la guerre. Hopefully the rest of the team can take advantage of most of these guys attacking Grys.

PS. One of these days, I'll get the line of sight required for teleport rule straight. :D
 

OOC: on second thoughts, I'll run to B7 and then instead of the second wind, I'll use radiant vengeance on the nearest Zombie radiant vengeace on Zombie near Mythra. With run penalty. (1d20+7-5=6, 1d8+5=6) - curses

also, don't forget my resistance 7 vs Necrotic damage from Astral Resistance (I need to make that clearer in my summary, sorry)


kal'Tarron dashes through the whirling maelstrom of necrotic energy then snaps off a clumsy bolt of holy radiance that flies over the heads of all the combatants.

Familiar Harrier is a move action, so Grys could not have done what he wanted to this round. Sorry about missing that.

So since the other Zombie was dead before Grys acted, Grys will do the same standard and move actions, but will change his Minor.
