//We haven't heard anything from brother shane or growl in a while, but it's time to move on anyway, so here goes://

You rise from your beds late in the morning, having needed the rest from a late night trudging through the streets. After a brief wash and breakfast you head on out back to the Overgrowth, The air is crisp and fresh, and although the sun is shining there is still a slight chill.
The streets of the Overgrowth are once again populated; beggars have found their spots for the day nestled in between the few street vendors that hope to sell their home made wares for enough money to buy food for their families.

//So now there are people about and a little light it should be easier to find those missing orphans, Perception checks to actually find them, again one check per 1 1/2 hours, with lots of you doing aid another checks this shouldn't take too long. a successful streetwise check could give you a bonus to the perception too.//

Mikara stays slumped and hidden behind the dark recesses of her hooded clothing. To those that didn't know any better, the lithe drow might look like an old granny, slowly making her way through the city. It is an odd contrast to the more confident members of her group. She scans the dark alleyways, hoping to gain a clue as to where these little creatures might be. She didn't give a lick for the little vagrants, but it was a lead, and they had little else to go on. She had to move forward and keep moving forward. She had to get back to that place of torture. Only next time, she would ensure that it was the Runelord who was the one being tortured and not the other way around.

Soon. Soon I will be able to get my revenge! We'll see who's uglier when I get through with that b***h!

[sblock=Streetwise Check] 21 Streetwise. [/sblock]

Thinking back to the first time she scouted this area, she points out to the others the best locations to search for the orphans.

Growl tries to aid in the search, but his unfamiliarity with cities makes things difficult for him.

Despite the restless sleep after an adrenaline filled night; working as a team, you discover one of the missing boys. The young brown haired lad was stuffed unconscious behind some rainwater butts behind crumbling tenement, his rag-clothes soaked through from the damp ground. Visible on his bare arm is a runic brand; but this one is different from the Minotaur's or Mikara's, it glares out an angry red against the child's pale skin .
[sblock=Andrec Only]The boy seems to be in the same listless state as Lil, the young girl you rescued last night. His rate of breath is extremely slow and his skin is pale and clammy. The rune is also the same as you saw on Lil.[/sblock]
//It's currently around 1130am.//

"I was afraid of this," Andrec says as he gently scoops the boy up. "Either we split up here, or we take him with us. I'm not fond of either plan. Ideas?"
