"We are ready to sssee the workshop if you would be ssso kind" proclaims Skalisss to the Housekeeper. He then leads the party downstairs.

She nods at Skaliss's request, "This way, please." She takes you to the rear of the manor, where you wind a large conservatory. Unlike the study; this room is exceptionally clean. A number of wooden crates of various sizes take up one end of the area. Two long workbenches occupy the center of the conservatory. One of them currently supports a large statue of a well muscled man. However, the statue has been split in two, almost across the waist. An assortment of chisels and hammers lay nearby in an almost haphazard fashion that seems out of place compared to the tidiness that otherwise claims this room.

There's something strange about the way the tools are laid out. It looks like there was a struggle, and then someone hurriedly tried to put everything back the way it was. The statue itself has a smooth two inch by two foot cavity within it, revealed now that it has been halved. The cavity is empty.

[sblock=Arcana or Dungeoneering 17]This statue was not carved by hand but by magic, which is probably how the cavity inside was formed.[/sblock]

The statue also has an inscription on it, in an archaic form of Allarian.

[sblock=History 15]The inscription reads "Faran. Feared, felled, forgotten."
[sblock=History 22]The term used for "forgotten" also bears connotations of pride on behalf of whoever wrote this.[/sblock][/sblock]

As for the crates, they contain a number of statuettes and excavated pottery, all old and no doubt worth a reasonable amount of money to the right people.

OOC: We are waiting for a post from Tomalak, correct? 10/29 was his last post. Can we get a Dungeoneering and History check from Growl and move on?

Why are we waiting for me? Didn't I state that if I'm not posting, it's likely because my character is simply being quiet? I check in every day or two, I just don't post unless I see a need.

[sblock=ooc]So I have a request for you guys, and that is that all of you, all of you, put a little more activity into this thread. Even if your character has nothing to say, there are still skill checks to make or things to discuss ooc.

To me, this lack of posts means either you're not really interested in continuing or that you have no idea what to do next. If it's the latter, let me know and I'll try to give some direction. If it's the former, then let me know and I'll speed things along to the conclusion. And to be honest, right now I'm pretty tempted to do just that. I have no interest in playing this whole thing out if this is the speed we'll be moving at. We've been in the manor for a month now.

Obviously, if you can't post because real life has you running ragged, that's fine, but let me know.[/sblock]
