Masumi will use diplomacy to try to talk the summoned Shaefa into helping (with skill check one), she will tap into her Beguiling Tongue for the action. 1d20+12=18

Actually, the real reason I made this post is so that we could catch up to Renau1g's adventure. We're only 3 behind. Come on everyone. We can do it!

ooc: LOL, dimsdale, you're silly... but I LIKE IT! Anyways, When Gurdan was fighting Tracker, he used his second wind, and gained an AC of like... 30 (jerk ), which is why he started going after Lo-Kag. Because of this (and because you have not had the chance to rest for 5 minutes), Gurdan cannot use Second Wind until he has rested. If he wants to use Healing Word on himself, that is perfectly acceptable. I just need to know (from him) what he is going to have his character do.

OOC: Very well, Gurdan will heal himself with Healing Word (heals HS value plus an extra 6). Hopefully he can stay alive long enough to be useful in another skill challenge

Shaefa nods to Masumi with a smile.

"I hear your plight, and will answer with all of my power."

Suddenly, the seal created by Masumi and Alexia shatters and Shaefa transforms into the mist that surrounds her, flowing over and into the elemental engine.

You can see a great battle raging within the elemental engine between Shaefa and the fire elemental. Thus engaged, the elemental does not have the time to both fight Shaefa and cause the engine to burn. [/sblock]

The fires around the engine begin to die down and the engine begins to frost over, a slick coating of ice filling in all of the gaps between moving parts.
