[sblock=Otakkun] It is now Round 3, so everyone except Gurdan (who has already posted) can go again :) [/sblock]

Gurdan tries his best to maintain the connection he had with the nature spirit that was guiding him. Suddenly he sees the great ghostly beast and charges forward. Unfortunately for him, this caused a stampede of real deer to scatter, making Gurdan lose site of the spirit. A couple of the deer collide with the dwarf, but bounce off of the solid mass of wood, metal and flesh causing no significant harm. All in all, nothing was truly harmed, other than he lost sight of the nature spirit, and a whole lot of noise was created.

Alexia attempts to calm the deer down before realizing she has no idea how to do so. All she manages to do is twist her ankle by stepping on a loose branch. Sheepishly, she turns back to the group and whispers, "Sorry. This really isn't my element..."

"This is getting us nowhere!" Lo-kag states in frustration as he attempts to make the deer go back from where the came. "Maybe these deer were spooked." Lo-kag smiles and the says "I'll show them the real meaning of being spooked." Lo-kag shows his teeth and growls at the deer with a mighty roar. The deer jump and run back the way they came. "I know what you are going to say...we've already lost our element of surprise anyway...why not have a little fun."

ooc: intimidate and endurance rolls respectively: 28,14 oops...the endurance roll was only a 9. ugh

After the deer retreat from Lo-Kag's extremely loud shout, Garrick and Grryth manage to find a well trodden path through the tall grass. After following the trail for a few minutes, you come to a wall of trees. Off to the side, there is a small opening in the wall that leads into a clearing.

When you enter the clearing, the sight that greets you churns the bile in your stomach. The far end of the clearing looks like something from a horror story. Burnt and torn bodies lay strewn across the ground, the trees are sprayed and heavy with blood. At the north end of the clearing are twelve empty stockades. Three large tables adorned with all sorts of terrible tools and implements of torture are splayed out on the table, and fresh gore lay about on the ground.

Lo-Kag surveys the carnage. "Hah...and I thought that I've seen it all. There is always something that tops it." Lo-kag then scans the area for any threats as any trained soldier would do when confronted with a ghastly scene such as this.

ooc: perception roll: 18
