Gurdan seems unusually quiet as he continues scanning the earth all around him searching for clues. He is so tuned in to the workings of the earth that he feels no fatigue as the search continues. (Round two: Nature 23, Endurance 22)

Lo-Kag follows the light source and then states to the others "Let me clear some of this crap out of the way. I'll try not to trample over fresh prints." Lo-kag takes out his weapon and slashes away at the overgrowth.

Gurdan seems unusually quiet as he continues scanning the earth all around him searching for clues. He is so tuned in to the workings of the earth that he feels no fatigue as the search continues.

After a few silent moments of reverie, Gurdan sees the ghostly shape of a stag emerge from one of the trees down the path. It stares Gurdan straight in the eyes and then bolts down the path, making an immediate left turn and disappearing from view between a couple of trees.

[sblock=Round 1: ]

Riel: rolled an Insight Check of 10 (a minor fail) and Endurance of 17 (pass). This means that no bonus is given to the next skill check, but he does not lose a healing surge.

Garrick: Uses Aid Another (Perception) and rolls a 6 (a minor fail) and Endurance 11 (fail). This means that no bonuses are given to the next skill check, and Garrick loses 1 healing surge.

Grryth: Rolled a Perception check of 15 (Failure) and Endurance of 13 (pass). This means that the group has gained a failure, but Grryth does not lose a healing surge.

Gurdan: Rolled a Nature (Success) / Endurcance (pass) check of 26 / 29. This gives the group a success, and Gurdan does not lose a healing surge.

Alexia: Rolled Stealth 13, Endurance 15. The stealth check is a minor fail, as it is not yet required, so no skill check failure will accrue, but I am going to assess a -2 penalty to the groups' next skill check (which unfortunate for him, falls on Lo-Kag).

Lo-Kag: Rolled Insight 5 (minor fail) and Endurance 26 (pass). This gives the next skill check no bonuses or penalties, and Lo-Kag does not lose a healing surge.

[sblock=Round 2 2 Successes; 1 Failure]

Riel: Rolled an Insight Check of 15 and an Endurance check of 15. This gives the main Perception check a +2 bonus and Riel does not lose a healing surge.

Garrick: Rolled an Aid Other (perception) check of 10 and an Endurance check of 15. This will give the main Perception check a +2 bonus. Garrick does not lose a healing surge.

Lo-Kag: Athletics (minor success) and endurance (pass) rolls respectively: 13, 22. This gives a +2 bonus to the next skill check, which happens to be Gurdan. Lo-Kag does not lose a healing surge.

Gurdan: Rolls Nature 23 (25 with Lo-Kag's +2 bonus) and Endurance 22 gaining the group a SUCCESS. Gurdan does not lose a healing surge. [/sblock]

Garrick: 6/7 Healing Surges
Riel: 7/7 Healing Surges
Lo-Kag: 8/8 Healing Surges
Grryth: 11/11 Healing Surges
Alexia: 10/10 Healing Surges
Gurdan: 13/13 Healing Surges

Although he doesn't see the ghostly stag move off the left, Grryth gives Gurdan validation of his vision as he spots a few tracks moving off in the same direction as the stag.

As the group follows Grryth, they find themselves in a small clearing. The grass is high here and there is a slight breeze blowing through, causing the grass to sway side to side.

Seeing that her humming isn't having a beneficial effect, Alexia hushes up, and instead looks for notable features in the wilderness with the intention of pointing them out to those who knew what they were doing.

[sblock=mechanics]I have no idea what to roll, so let's default to aid another for the next perception check, which auto-passes because I have +9. Boy, that's lame. I'm going to roll anyway. Got a 21, and a 23 for Endurance. Rolls.[/sblock]

[sblock=THB] Currently, yes. Soon their will be a third, but it will be required from everyone at once... (you'll see what I mean soon). All other skills I am taking as a secondary skill that can give the next PC a +2 bonus to their skill check (unless specifically directed at another PC) [/sblock]
