A quick scan of the area finds that the only bodies in or outside of the Guard Station are those of guards. Oddly enough, any criminals that were being held inside are nowhere to be found and neither is the body of the Salesman nor that of Dash. There is paperwork strewn around on the desks inside of the Guard Station. It looks like the inmates did a quick search for something in the paperwork before leaving.

Grryth will press through the crowd as his comrades converse with the witnesses to gather informations. Talking isn't really his thing. He continues forward through the hole in the wall and into the carnage of what used to be the prison cell. He then slowly scans the area around the cell and where the guards are.

As Grryth scans the area of the Guard Station, he finds a stack of papers that look different among the other papers on the desk and he notices that they seem to be interrogation papers. The papers record a conversation that one of the Sergeants had with Dash. The Sergeant asked Dash many questions, but only got the response of "The burned city will rise again. Fleshies will perish by the Lord's Hand!"

This phrase was repeated several times and was Dashes only answer to the interrogation.

Grryth will take the papers over to Alexia and the others.

"You should take a look at these. Makes no sense ta me but perhaps you can figure 'em out"

Alexia takes the note. "Hold on, I can't think in here." She walks out of the ruins and stands in the shadow of a neighboring building before reading the paper. "Well, this probably isn't a typical theft. I don't know who this Lord is, but it doesn't sound good. Our adversaries so far have been exclusively warforged. And this 'burned city' could be a reference to Daskaran, given that the name is what triggered the messenger. Oh, uh, Daskaran was a town in northern Aunduir. It was razed. I think I might have passed near there once. It could be that we'll find more clues there. Or it may be a very elaborate hoax to get us out of town," Alexia shrugs, "but that seems a little extreme."

ooc: How far away is Daskaran? How would we get there?

[sblock=Daskaran] Daskaran is in North Eastern Aundair, and you are in southern Brelanand, where the Hilt and Dagger rivers cross. There are MANY ways one could get to Daskaran from Sharn; Lightning Rail (most reliable), Lyrandar Air Ship (cutting accross the continent as the bird flies) or water craft (circumnavigate the continent and go into on of the inlets between Karnath and Aundair), or by Horse/foot. Remember, Gurdis said she would pay your way once you decide where you need to go. [/sblock]

After considering all of the option Lo-Kag states "If expenses aren't a factor, I vote for the quickest method of travel possible. This has turned into something more than petty thievery. The sooner we get there, the quicker we can put an end to whoever is responsible for this mess." Lo-Kag looks to the rest of the party for their opinion on the matter.
