Gurdan shakes his head slowly from side to side. "I don't like this. Too complicated, and too much still unknown." Sighing, he continues. "But yer right - faster is better. The lighnin' rail it is, then."

"Let's tell the dwarf our intentions and be on our way. She did say that she'd pay regardless of our chosen type of travel...right?" Then turning to the crowd still gathered around the building, Lo-Kag states with a booming voice "Citizens, stand back and clear a path for us as our work is done here. Get out of the way!"

ooc: I like how everyone's been treating us like official investigators rather than a bunch of thugs who just contaminated a crime scene. Let's get out of here before the authorities arrive.

OOC: Yes, but your average thug won't be wearing all of the shinnies that you guys have either! ;)

[sblock=ooc] LOL... well okay, perhaps some of you are more thuggish in your approach, but Alexia's charm and Lo-Kag's intimidating demeanor has meant that there is no resistance to what you have done. [/sblock]

ooc: there we go! that's it! I've edited my post to show more of a thuggish side rather than the heros that I thought we were.

Alexia manages to look appropriately apologetic as she follows Lo-Kag away from the scene. After a few blocks, she turns to her companions. "So, let's return to Gurdis and ask for ticket money."

Grryth turns to Alexia, Lo-Kag and the others.

"Ya 'bout that - I'm not knowing fer sure, but ain't one of those air ships a lot faster than the lightnin rail? If we wana get there fast, we should take the fasest means of transportation."

[sblock=OOC]
I don't have the books in front of me, but isn't an air ship faster than the lightning rail? I had always thought so anyway....
