[sblock=ooc] Yes, a Lyrandar air-ship would absolutely be quicker than a lightning rail, however, the Lightning Rail is on a set schedule and is more reliable. With an Air ship, you would need to find someone who owned an air-ship, haggle with them over the price...if they'll even fly to your destination, and possibly owe a favor to house Lyrandar. I can adjust my encounters and skill challenges to whatever mode of transportation you guys decide to go with, but I just need to know how you want to get to wherever you decide you are going to go. Any mode of transportation you decide to go with will be fun in oh so many evil, evil, DM *ahem* fun, pink fluffy kitten ways...eh heh.... yeah... heh...:heh: [/sblock]

"Sure, if we can get a ship to go in our direction. Also, negotiating passage to somewhere near Daskaran might arouse suspicion. But anyone can use the lightning rails."

Silent through the whole interchange, Garrick just nods at Lo-Kag, a smile on his face at the prospect of traveling once again.

Good, I was actually aching for a trip ... again. At least this wanderlust has always lead me to interesting places.

As you arrive at Gurdis's house, you can see the female dwarf locking her front door with a large suitcase by her side. As she turns around, she spots the group and waves sadly at them, picks up her suitcase and walks over to you.

"So what be the hubbub o'er down there? Learn an'thin' useful?"

"Aye, my good lady, we found out a few things." Gurdan briefly summarizes what little they found, the reference to the mysterious Lord, and the party's plan to make way to Daskaran by lightning rail.

"Daskaran...I know I be hearin' of that place...not sure where it be exactly, but I be settin' up passage fer ya. I be headin' back home t'th'Mror Holds meself. I be takin' the rail too. Maybe ye be trav'lin' with me fer a while. I be makin' the plans straight 'way, so go git whatever it is you be needin' and I be meetin' ye at the rail station."

With that the dwarf clomps off towards the rail station, leaving the group behind to gather their belongings and make any preparations that they want to make for the journey.
