[Adventure] The Second Day of Mourning (Judge: renau1g)

Garrick walks over to Grryth and tries to help him pat out the flames, but both of their bench pillows get eaten by the flames and their fire fighting implements crumble in their hands. Thankfully for them, the conductor is on hand with two new bench seat pillows for each of the fire fighters and the three of them manage to quickly snuff the remaining flames in the cabin. The walls are charred and the air is filled with soot, but the threat of fire in the wealthy cabin is over with as long as no other fires spread back to this cabin!

[sblock=Skill Challenges]
ROUND 4:

Skill Challenge 1 (Engine Fire): (3/6 successes 0/3 failures)

Skill Challenge 2 (Wealthy Cabin): (COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY!)

(Grryth rolled a total of 15 and Garrick rolled an unfortunate 3; the conductor gives Grryth a +2 bonus for a total of 17 and another success is earned.)

This means that all further ongoing damage is dropped to 2 fire damage per round, and is only applicable to characters that are in the same cabin as the fire. (Fire is only currently affecting the Middle Class Cabin)

Skill Challenge 3 (Middle Class Cabin): (4/6 successes 1/3 failures)

Lo-Kag, renewed and refreshed, pounds on the walls of the cabin with a bench-pillow and snuffs a significant amount of fire, earning a success.

Well then Grryth would like to use the conductor for this round then, gaining a success and negating a failure. I don't think anyone has used him yet.

[sblock=The conductor] Post edited above to include the use of the Conductor and the successful completion of Skill Challenge #2!! Congrats! [/sblock]

Seeing that the job is already done in the cabin, Garrick moves back to the engine room, adding his own arcane power into the mix, hoping to potentiate the cold elemental in there.

Arcana Check: 1d20+10=25 (15) <-- alt roller, inv is not working again for me.

[sblock=Garrick] Your check is a success. Thank you for not waiting for IC to come back up before you rolled. I'll give an update once Alexia and Masumi have posted their actions for this round. [/sblock]

Alexia makes her way to the next cabin to help finishing off the fire. She begins to beat at the flames when suddenly she doubles over as a voice screeches in her head.

"You say you let Qlorkvqxin! Why you no help! Why you help frost lady?"

She winces and tries to regain concentration, but for now there is nothing to be done.

[sblock=mechanics]Athletics for #3, natural 1. Hope I'm not taking too much liberty with the NPC there.[/sblock]

[sblock=ooc] Nah, it's cool that you took over Qlorkvqxin. Makes a more interesting story :) Now we just need Masumi and we can get to round 5 (which will probably be the last round)[/sblock]

[sblock=whoops]

I have just noticed that Garrick has gone TWICE in round 4... I will take this latest success and apply it to Round 5. I still need Gurdan for round 4. [/sblock]

OOC: Was just about to ask if I missed a turn in there

Gurdan rushes to the middle class cabin to see what aid he can provide. Great Earth, he thinks, show me the fire's weakness so that I may send it away. (OOC: Nature check 14) Unfortunately, no inspiration comes to him as he beats helplessly at the flames.
