(Adventure) Trek to the Vinyard...

OoC:We can assume that someone examined the arrow, just let me know who...

IC:

Remounting and trying to stay ahead ofthe coming Storm, the group moves off again riding South along the Road.
At one point about an hour out, thurgan falls from the steed he rides and lands in the tall grasses that line the roadside, suffering no serious damage, though he will have an ugly bruise on his rump to show on the morrow. The light patter of rainfall breaks suddenly into a torrent as you round a bend and sight the edge of the Vingarius Vinyard near on an hour after Thurgan's mishap. A long road stretches down a lane filled with mostly fallow of the grapes and berries that create Vingarius' famous Wines. It is late summer, and the Vinyard most liely is done with harvest at this point, concentrating on the other stages of production.
The road continues over a rise, most likely leading up to the Estate itself some ways down the Road, though no building is yet visable.

"Finally, the vinyard, not too soon with that rain. At first sign, their seems to be no problem here, so let's go the the estate."

I don't consider myself a specialist in arrows, so I'll let someone else to inspect it. If someone have detact poison under hand, it can be a good move to inspect it with that spell, just in case.

Thurgan grumbled something about an evil beast as he climbed out of the tall grasses and made his way back to the horse.

'First the horse and I don't get along, and I think I'll be saddle sore for days. Then I fall off the evil beast, and I swear he was smiling at me when I climbed out of the grasses. Now this rain is likely to soak both me and the horse to the bone. What a way to start on my new career,' Thurgan thought. His mood was growing more and more sour by the hour.

"Anythin' ta get us out of the storm sounds good ta me," Thurgan commented.

"Well in that case we should perhaps head towards the actual estate where we may find shelter rather than down towards the vines."

Felix, as is everyone, is fairly sodden by now and rain is rolling off his nose, tendrils of his well formed hair have now begun to plaster to his forehead, he still seems to be keeping a positive attitude however.

"If lightning starts up I myself would not want to e eon a horse at the time, I would not want to fall prey to a swift journey out of the saddle as our friend Thurgan has. I am not in the least experienced at this equestrian business"

"Unless people wished to split up of course, one group could head to the house the other to the grapevines, it is likely that such an action would not be advisable however given the matters we are investigating, there is, as ever, strength in numbers"

Realising that he has allowed his love of talking to cause him to ramble slightly Felix quietens down. Looking round at his compaions for any response he wipes his brow free of water.

"Hey Felix!" Zoe yells at him, "You mind if we continue this conversation inside? I'd rather get myself out of the rain first."

Zoe rides towards the estate, increasing her speed a little.

"Well that sounds like a decision to me! it's good someone made one, if things get left to me we would have been here for weeks!"

Felix heads after Zoe whilst keeping a lookout as best he can for anything untoward.

Felix is paying attention to any undergrowth at the sides of the road etc. Spot untrained (+1 ability bonus +2 racial bonus)

OoC: Sorry about not posting, moving has been hectic and I've been without a net connection for awhile.

Troi is quiet throughout the ride after leaving the wagon, periodically looking up at the sky and shaking his head.

"I dunno 'bout this weather." He says as they approach the manor. "Somethin's goin' on, an' I dunno what it is, y'know? But anyway, that wagon was kinda weird... no tracks, no nothin'. Even with rain, you'd think I woulda found somethin'..."

He shrugs. "Ah well, I'm not perfect. Hopefully we'll find out more after we talk to th' guys at the estate, or whatever."
