[Adventure] Trouble in Moonwatch (Judge: THB) - Part II

Poison cources through Valahad, chilling him even in the heat of the jungle. Locked in battle with the croc, the paladin raises his blade which glows with holy light. Even with the muck of the swamp impeding his vision, he manages to wound the creature's leg. Holy light emerges from the water, covering the kalashtar, curing the poison coursing through him.

Until we can get these two into an area effect, Winged Horde looks like the best bet. And his sheet does not state it, but his Wand adds to his damage with Winged Horde.

Sheeva rushes her shot, eager to finish the combat quickly.

"Bolster me, Arawai, so I can continue to help my companions". Answering his prayer, Arawai heals her follower, removing some of the effect.

Feall begins setting up a devastating strike against the great reptile, maneuvering and striking out weakly as he places a shroud on the croc.

Feeling the water splash around him as the Snake slithers closer, Kortauhk spins in a circle, slapping his blade against both of his enemies to make sure that he had their attention. Summoning one of the storm spirits that was flying around himself and his allies, he channeled the spirit's energy through his blade. A bolt of lightning shot forth towards the snake, creating a shockwave of sound that reverberated against the Crocs solid shell.

"Own medicine be bad? Maybe you no hurt people what walk through place then!"

The crocodile tears a chunk out of Korthauk and the snake slithers away as its eyes begin glowing and the goliath feels it bore into his mind, leaving him unable to move. Valahad's faith in his god protects him however.

Shambling mounds roam swamps and marshes. The common variety envelops its prey and crushes it with its rootlike tendrils. Shamblind Mounds recover their vitality quickly.

The insects are known as Swamp Striders and they carry a deadly poison when they bite. They are considered a delicacy for some nobles when properly roasted.
[sblock=Nature DC 20]
Shambling mounds are healed by lightning. They can envelop lesser sized creatures and drain their strength. [/sblock] [/sblock]

[sblock=Arcana DC 20]
The crocodile is known as a Feymire crocodile. A feymire crocodile hails from the untamed marshlands of the Feywild, although they inhabit worldly swamps as well. The crocodile constantly extends roots and tendrils into its surrounding environment to draw nourishment from it. The creature also has regenerative abilities, although the application of fire will stop it for a few seconds, similar to a troll [/sblock]
