[Adventure] Trouble in Moonwatch (Judge: THB) - Part II

[SBLOCK=OOC]That's exactly the mean of that character. I made him to make it the best healer possible, but I was starting to find I was overkilling in healing, that's why I changed Beacon of Hope for Moment of Glory, which proved was just great :D

Now, I am curious to see Stream of Life into action. With Pacifist Rewards feat and Longtooth Shifting Regeneration, It promise to be fun to heal everyone while taking so little damage.[/SBLOCK]

Weariness presses on Feall, the constant struggle to move through the muck and the stress of the battle leaving him with few options for attack. He steels his resolve and lifts his sword again, casting a shroud over the crocodile just before swinging. In spite of his exhaustion the blade cuts deep into the animals flank.

Kortauhk turns around and slashes at the snake caster that has been tugged next to him thanks to Sheeva's magic. Swinging his sword, Kortauhk connects with the snake and his blade cuts through rubbery flesh. An aura of thunderous energy surrounds Kortauhk while his blade makes a sonic boom of sound, further damaging the croc's master.

"Leave peoples alone, bad snake person! We just try walk through! No need fight! You go away, then we go away! All happy!"

- Font of Life save vs. Immobilized: failed.

- Free: Mark the Snake

- Standard: Earth Shield Strike vs Snake; Kortauhk rolls 27 vs AC for 8 damage and 4 thunder damage. Kortauhk gains a +2 power bonus to AC until the end of his next turn. This brings his AC up to 28.

- End of round Save vs Immobilize: 10 (success)

[sblock=ooc for r1] If you visit Kortauhk's iplay4e page...can you see only the base sheet, or can you also see all of the changes (conditions, powers used, etc) that I've made? [/sblock]

[sblock=ooc] iplay4e is a great little site for those that use WOTC's Character Builder. Simply create an account on iplay4e (requires a gmail account) and upload a character builder file to the iplay4e site and voila! An instant character sheet tracker :) It's not perfect, and it doesn't include everything (and is subject to the same issues as the character builder itself since it uses wotc's files), but I find it's much easier to keep track of my characters this way =D [/sblock]

"Excuse me. Where do you think you're going? We're not done with you yet. Come on back here." Sheeva says to the Snake as a bolt of Lightning strikes behind it, flinging it forward.

River stay in prayer, no moving, asking his goddess to help his ally. Korthauk feels the goddess hand touching him, healing him and giving him more focus.

Valahad strikes again with his glowing blade, this time inflicting a minor wound against croc as the blade slides between the thin scales of the creature's jaw.

The shadow blade is the final straw as the crocodile succumbs to the many, many attacks of the adventurers.

Unfortunately I can only see the base page.[/sblock]

Pok moves behind the tree and hides. [sblock=ooc]total defense[/sblock]

The snake steps back and hurls another blast of thunder that slams into River and Valahad.

[sblock=Monster Actions]
Snake - shifts away and uses Thunderstrike - vs fort (val, river, kor); thunder (1d20+9=26, 1d20+9=29, 1d20+9=15, 2d10+3=19) hits Val for 19 and River for 23 (crit)
[/sblock]

The adventurer's finish off the snake with a combination of sword and spell.

[sblock=ooc]
Snake had 19 hp left, which I'm sure you'd do this turn. Pok couldn't do 19 damage even with a crit so that's why I just had him total defense [/sblock]

*phew* nice work guys.

Status:
Valahad - 22 - 14/63 -
Pok - 21 - 28/36 -
Feall - 20 - 32/37
Korthauk - 13 - 36/65 - +2 AC/Fort,
Bad guys - 10
Sheeva - 10 - 22/43+5thp - <- you're up
River - 7 - 13/49

bad guys, feall, River, Val, Korthauk, Sheeva, Pok (1d27=10, 1d20 7=20, 1d20 2=7, 1d20 3=22, 1d20 3=13, 1d20 6=10, 1d20 5=21) [/sblock]

With the snake and croc finally finished off, Kortauhk's shoulders sag and his head droops. Panting heavily, the goliath holds up his shield hand.

"Phew! Chomp-chomp and Snake thing be hard to kill! Kortauhk take rest for small time."

[sblock=Short Rest?] If we are to take a Short Rest, Kortauhk will spend 2 healing surges to bring himself back up to full HP. This will leave him with 11/14 healing surges. [/sblock]
