[Adventure] Trouble in Moonwatch (Judge: THB) - Part II

"Let's move quickly." Sheeva says, not quite sure how she can assist.

[sblock=OOC]
I'm thinking that we don't have 5 minutes to take out for a short rest. renau1g's call of course.

Sheeva doesn't need to take a short rest at all. She only used At Will powers (except for the temp hit points and those last until the next rest anyway).

We still have a lot of Action Points and Daily powers, and aren't hurt that bad, so we could technically continue on without a short rest.

[SBLOCK=OOC]If Rumbum wish it, River will spend a Healing Word before taking a short rest so he can be full, assuming we have a short rest.

yes please. :)

Like this Pok?...Yes? Rumbum tries to gather the dust and throw it in the air. Rumbum focusses on the dust to see where it goes.

[SBLOCK=OOC]I have seen some DM making short rest without the 5 minutes, other that goes by the book and some that seems to be harsher than that... River has no more encounter attack power, but have use only one healing word and still get all other encounter utility power or encounter feature. I would not heal Rumbum without having a short rest, so I'll wait for renau1g interpretation of short rest before using (or not) my last healing word.[/SBLOCK]

Pok pulls out his kit and begins work, Rumbum and River manage to aid the gnome in locating a hidden door in the southwest corner of the room.

A set of double doors stand to the south of this once-grand hall, but passage to the northeast is blocked where the ceiling has collapsed. Runic writing covers the walls. A mosaic makes up the center of the western wall—the five-headed symbol of Tiamat rendered 15 feet long on each side in black stone. The eyes of the dragon are made of small stones of obsidian, however the central head is missing one of the stones.

[sblock=Religion DC 10]
Tiamat, daughter of Khyber, draconic god of greed and power.Tiamat embodies the evil that lurks in the heart of every dragon and she has the power to corrupt dragons. Chromatic dragons are especially vunerable to her wiles, but any dragon can fall prey to her manipulation
[sblock=Religion DC15]
During the Age of Demons, Tiamat was bound below Argonnessen, Taimat has no exarch on the Council of Ashtakala;[/sblock]
[sblock=Religion DC20]
The dragons consider "lesser beings" (non-dragons) worshiping the draconic pantheon to be blasphemy, and have eradicated entire populations for doing so... [/sblock][/sblock]

I've got a set time limit for how much time until the cultists break through (increased due to Pok's ritual though, well done) and swarm you with their full weight. You are free to rest as often as you want but just know that the clock is ticking. :devil:

Feall had 8 thp & Sheeva had 5 so if you continue I'll add them back.

So Pok got 23, +2 from River, -2 from Feall's failure, and +2 from Rumbum = 25. Success on Perception. Just.

Oh, this isn't good. Pok mutters to himself as he moves into the room, after giving a cursory glance to the place, he begins his normal routine of finding exits and hiding spaces.

Hurry, let's keep moving, maybe we can put some more distance between us and them, Rumbum close those doors behinds us. Great job protecting me back there, those constructs couldn't get past you to smoosh me.

I don't mind to continue without the short rest, Pok hasn't used any of his defensive powers, or second wind. If the party is short on healing though, the five minutes could be the difference between a TPK and living. Velmont/River is probably best suited to make the call.

"No surprise the Giant who were here have disappeared. Dragon doesn't like to be worshiped, it is a blasphemy for them." He then move toward the doors. "Let's hurry"

And no healing for Rumbum for now. He is healthy enough to not waste healing on him.[/SBLOCK]

Rumbum also has powers that give him healing as well when he attacks.
He's built to take a pounding. :)

The doors are locked requiring either great strength or great skill to bypass.
