Lanharath immediately recognizes the threat and shouts out to team-mates and crew, dropping into a defensive stance.

"SAHUAGIN! PROTECT THE SHIP!"

Foes? You get beaten!! Thusk reacts with uncanny readiness and swiftly steps closer to the nearest sahuagin and swings at him wildly, the sahaguin brings up his trident in defense, but Thusk's fullblade cuts the weapon in twain and carries through into the helpless foe. The force of the blow carries the carcass off the ship into the water with a loud spash.

One of the raiders tries to stab Valahad, but the kalashter predicts the strike and blocks it in time, but during this defensive maneuver, one of the other sahaguin guards moves around and stabs him in the back.

Two enemies move towards Lanharath and despite his defensive positioning, the avenger is stabbed by two tridents. He finds he has trouble taking his eyes from the raider in front of him.

Another pair move towards River, intent on stabbing the cleric before he can react, but the shifter's tough chain armour protects him from their strikes.

The large sahaguin looks at Thusk in anger as the guard goes flying over the edge. With a tremendous roar, the creature lumbers forward. It stabs at the barbarian with a massive trident and slashes with its two free claws. The trident pierces his shoulder and one claw slashes his chest , causing a deep wound that continues to bleed. One of the guards rushes under the larger ceratures legs and tries to follow up on the attack, but Thusk sidesteps the blow.

The priest moves to the other side of the large creature and points his staff at the gnome. A set of spectral shark jaws appear in front of you, biting down on your midsection. You are quite shaken by the attack.

[sblock=OOC]
No cover/concealment Pok, sorry

*Please ensure there is a mini-stat block in your sig during combat* Thanks!

Thusk killed guard 3, Valahad takes 5 dmg from guard 1, Lanharath takes 11 damage (5 & 6) and is marked by the Raider TENT, both miss River, Thusk takes 19 damage from the baron and has 5 ongoing, Pok is hit for 11 damage, takes 5 ongoing damage and -2 penalty to all defenses (save ends)

Status:
Thusk - 5 ongoing damage (save ends)
Pok - 5 ongoing damage and -2 penalty to all defenses (save ends)
Lanharath - marked by raider 1

Illumination: Dim lighting from the falling sun. (If you don't have low-light vision enemies have concealment)
The boat is a close approximation, but there are no ballistas or lifeboats, the only sail is the one in the middle (along F/G coordinates). The only raised area is the southern part where the Kalashters are located.

The stairs are difficult terrain, they're 10 feet up, so it takes 4 squares of movement to get up or down from the raised area.

Valahad you are at L5, your name kind of got blocked

Init:
Bad guys - 20
Lanharath - 19 <- you're up
River - 15
Valahad - 14
Thusk - 10
Pok - 7
*Funny that the highest init mods of the PCs got the lowest rolls.

Lanharath takes a few quick steps onto the aft of the ship and speaks a few words of prayer to Il-Yannah.

"Il-Yannah protect us from this evil that springs up from the darkness. Guide our blade and let it reflect your light. Set your gaze down upon our enemy so that we may strike true in your name!"

Lanharath steps forward and swings his longward in an arc toward his foes head, his blade gleaming in the last rays of the sun.

[sblock=Actions] Move Action: Shift 1 square south to M4 ([/sblock]
[sblock=Actions]Acrobatics, just in case I am balancing on a rail! (1d20 + 9=25)
Minor Action: Use Oath of Enmity on Raider 1.
Standard Action:
Attack Raider 1 with Sequestering Strike; Hits AC 25 (sorry forgot the penalties for no low light) for 19 damage. If this hits, Raider 1 is teleported to I2 and I am teleported to I3. EDIT: I accidently typoed for the bonus to damage. It should be 2d8 + 8 because he's wielding the longword in two hands, so it should be a total of 20 damage, not 19. SORRY![/sblock]

River move in the corner of the deck and take his holy symbol, praying Arawai. His goddess answer his call by flooding part of the deck with a bright light that bolster Pok and Lanharath, but his enemy feels the wrath of the goddess.

[SBLOCK=OOC]I assume that Lanharath action have worked... that's a reason why I like Mal's way to handle battles, I have no doubt about what happen before me...

Move: Shift to J6
Standard: Divine Glow against Guard 1, 4 and 6 (1d20+8=18, 1d20+8=22, 1d20+8=21, 1d8+6=10)

Pok and Lanharath gain +2 to hit until the end of my next turn.[/SBLOCK]

[sblock=OOC]
Yes Lanharath hits. I'm not crazy about putting defenses up... the smaller benefit (IMHO) outweighs the way it kind of breaks the illusion. I am usually on most of the business day so if there's any questions about whether an action succeeds or not please PM me or post here, i'll see it (usually).

Valahad is taken aback of such foes on their deck. With but a thought, the metal of his drawn blade changes to a blazing ray of light, the ship and the water around illuminated as if under the noonday sun. Brushing the blonde hair from his face, the kalashtar speaks in the mind of Lanharath, "The light of Il-Yannah, illuminates us. My faith protects us from harm as surely as my shield protects my body." The paladin steps forward, swinging his blade toward the scaled creature.

[sblock=Actions]Activate my sunblade to shed bright light in 20 squares(no more concealment, free action). These action or dependent on guards one and six being down: Minor: Oath of enmity on Raider 1. Move: Shift to K4. Standard: Righteous Smite vs Raider 1. oath of en raider 1 right smite (1d20+10=24, 1d20+10=25, 2d8+5=13) So 25 to hit for 13 damage and me and all my allies gain 9 temp hp.[/sblock]

YEOW!! It hurts!! yells Thusk as he bleeds profusely from the wound. The half-orc takes a step back, looking angrily at the large sahuagin, and You regret!! charges him at full speed, ignoring the smaller sahuagin beside him. More bleeding from Thusk as his weaon consumes his vital force to strenghten itself, but the blow is devastating.

[sblock=actions]shift to I2; charge to G2(drawing OA from guard), Howling strike vs Sahuagin Baron: 23 vs AC, 26 dmg, and Thusk loses 2 hp. If it hits, Thusk uses Furious assault for 7 more damage (for a total of 33 dmg); If the sahuagin baron is bloodied, the next attack against it (by Thusk or an ally) gains a +2 bonus. Also remember that Thusk gets 5 temp hp the first time he is bloodied.

[sblock=OOC]
Lots of movement, I'll post in about an hour either way, but a map/status update would help tremendously!

Sidenote, I just got attacked by a group of Sahagin (yes this is how they spell it, do to restriction on number of letters in a name), in my final fantasy 1 videogame... I thought it was hilarious. [/sblock]

[sblock=Pok]
I'm actually about to head to lunch to meet a client, so I can't update for at least 1 hour. So far Valahad hits, Thusk hits, River hits (killing all 3 guards he targeted, nice work) Lan hits raider 1. So guard 1, 2, and 5 are left, both raiders are left, (raider 1 is bloodied), baron is still standing, and so is priest. Everyone's effects are in place. Sorry I can't be more help

Bye
[/sblock]

[sblock=OOC]
That was exactly what I needed, Good luck with the client!

I'll update ASAP, but my skunks need to be let out currently, they are getting pissy and stomping at me.

[/sblock]

[sblock=EDIT]

:( heading to hospital, my brother was admitted to the ER. Dunno what's up yet, I'll update when I get back.
