"Pok! Why are you moving it closer? You're making it harder for me to get away. Are you controlled like Val?" Sheeva calls out as her blast overcomes the tentacle creatures resolve and it burrows up the stairs. The drow takes her opportunity and moves away from the foe.
The woman next to River calls out to her sister at the top of the stairs,
"Come, let us avenge our fallen comrade against this agent of Khyber" and the shifter relaxes his guard a bit. She then strikes with her longsword, but the blow is turned aside by the chainmail.
Her sister streaks past Sheeva, leaving herself open to the drow, and she takes a swing at River as well, but again the cleric's god must be watching over him this evening as it is deflected as well.
The tiefling stalks along the edge of the pit, moving next to Lan and points at the tentacles
"My sister's have been overcome by the will of that beast, help me slay it in the Flame's name, kalashter". Lan turns for a moment and leaves his flank open. The tiefling stabs hard with his short sword into the avenger's shoulder, leaving a deep wound.
A tentacle springs out at Lanharath, but he manages to just sidestep the attack as he reels from the previous blow.

*bow 1 moves to M14, then charges River (Sheeva, I rolled OA for you (if you want to take it), it hits for 4 damage), but also misses (a 2... wow...just wow)
*Tiefling moves along the edge of the pit, stands next to Lan, and 'tricks' the avenger, he grants CA to the tiefling TENT. Then the tielfing stabs him with his short swords. He hits for 18 damage
*tentacle attacks Lan and again rolls super low (missing with a 17)
I've created a room for this game under Moonwatch. Please roll dice there until IC is back up. Not the best, but better than nothing. Just a reminder for Valahad and Lan, I don't believe a light source has been created yet, so you should treat all other creatures as having concealment from you (-2 to hit)
