Adventurer's Vault Excerpt: Airships

Four AC and two Reflex, and no damage resistance? I wonder if that is a typo, there are some unknown vehicle rules (I.E counts as an object), or there are ways to improve them.

I also hope they are going to put in siege weapons.

I guess there's a reason why having an artificer (who can heal objects) is a good thing to have on an airship.

Here's a question: Do area effects damage the airship if you're targeting people on deck? I.e. a wizard uses a Thunderwave on deck. Does he also damage the ship?

Would the attack also harm nearby allies? If so, why wouldn't the attack also damage the ship?
