Adventuring in the Shadowfell

So there's this new plane, The Shadowfell. It's neat, sparks my interest, but there's so little written about it. Is there anymore info on it beyond that one paragraph?

Has anyone run any games that involved it?

There's been some discussion about an upcoming try-it-and-see 4e campaign and one of the things that came up is a short campaign set entirely within the Shadowfell. Either a quest to find a portal home or a castaways style thing where a small town gets ported in there wholesale.

Any advice?

There's ANOTHER manual of the planes coming out soon..also, wasn't there something about it in the DMG?

In the meantime, you could use the Plane of Shadow material in 3.5E's Manual of the Planes, possibly merged with aspects of the Negative Energy Plane in places.

So what are the main differences between the Shadowfell and the Plane of Shadows? If any.
