Advice on a hexblade build, please.

A new campaign is starting, and I’ve decided to play a hexblade. We use all kinds of D20 supplements, so I’m looking for a build that can contain almost any 3rd party stuff. I had considered a hexblade14/Mystic6. The mystic is from Dragon magazine and grants tons of extra spells per day, free metamagic, but no spell progression. This is not an issue, since I will already have 4th level spells. The problem is, it takes 4 feats to qualify for, including spell penetration, which will be useless as my caster level will only be 7. I've also considered adding a level of Yakuza for improved evasion, or even a few levels of Eldritch Master for a couple of lightning bolts or something.

Anyways, I'd appreciate any advice. I'm not looking to build an uber character, just something that can pull his own weight and not feel like the others are showing him up.

Book of Eldritch Might I, II, and III. It is also coming out in its complete format I believe next week.

So check it out.

Nightfall, I found the Lace feats, they're ok, but require a 17 intelligence. I can't afford that, what with pumping charisma up and all.

Wee Jas, I absolutely detest archery. Archery is for puny wimps who are to scared to face their enemies toe to toe! The day I put down my sword to hide behind the wizard and fling pointy sticks at puny goblins is the day I commit ritual suicide!

So buy a Headband of Intellect +6. :)
