AEG Loses Stargate SG-1!!!

Best guess is they both are. Sony probably asked for more money than AEG was willing to pay. From AEG's pov, Sony chose not to renew (at AEG's price), and from Sony's pov AEG chose not to renew (at Sony's price).

this is what I would figure, it always comes down to the price and they just couldn't reach an agreement.

Well, WotC wanted a new Dune license (after LUG's expired), but the Herbert Estate wanted a much higher price than what they requested from LUG. WotC couldn't meet it, they are already paying a premium royalty to Lucasfilm for the Star Wars license (covering RPG, TCG, and CMG).

But if AEG couldn't meet the price, I doubt Eden can, unless Sony/MGM have a soft spot for lesser known game publishing company who just happen to have two successful licensed games. Isn't that kind of a double standard, to allow Eden to do it at a much lower price that AEG could have meet?

That is by definition a double standard, yes. But there is no evidence of this happening. Eden or someone else may be willing to pay more money then AEG. It isn't always about what you can afford, it is also if you think the pricve is worth it. Both companies are private so we really have no idea how much capital they have to spend. Sure, AEG looks like the bigger company, but Eden could be better at buniness and able to do more with the money they have.

QAGS Firefly

I have been looking everywhere for a copy of QAGS Firefly. If one of you nice folks who have it would be so kind as to send it to me, I would be most grateful. You can send it to "sajones" at "rhtc" dot net. I am going to be running a Firefly game soon, and that would help out a ton. Thanks!

Looks like Eden got the liscense. Granted they won't officially say anything to like 2006. Least that's how it looks when they won't deny it but say that if they did they did they couldn't say. Love legalise.
