AFI Awards last night; tibute to Lucas

Did anyone catch this late last night on the USA network? They showed a clip of Peter Jackson talking about ILM. He looked like Dominic Monaghan, I completely did not recognize him.

They also had Shatner open the ceramonies. He started off like he was at a Star Trek convention, almost being escorted of stage by stormtroopers. There is a bunch of others things but I was in and out of it. I do remember Mark, Carrie, and Harrison on stage with CP3O, R2D2, and Chewie in the same position as in the end of A New Hope.

I saw it. Shatner did a song and it went on a little to long. He was carried off the stage by the Stormtroopers who danced before they took him away.

Its like a Star Wars movie some of it looked good some didn't and the dialog was a little flat at times.

While I thought she was the best on there I kept expecting her to grow in this large green muscle man saying "you won't like me when I'm angry".

I was gonna so watch that but my need for sleep won out... that and I had to be up at 4AM this morning for work.

It was worth watching just for this, and the King of Wooden Dialogue line.
