Rahja will communicate with Melchior to get as much information as possible about what happened last night and where the coach is heading now, how far away from Waterdeep they are, and so on. Also how long it would take him to get back there.

She utters a few words and her robe begins to change into some more fitting clothes, a short skirt and a loose, low-cut shirt, both colored in a dark green.

Meanwhile, she will stretch her tired body to rest comfortably against Danilo's shoulder while checking carefully, that she is wearing all her stuff from yesterday (which was mainly her jewelry besides the clothing).

Rahja smiles softly at Danilo. I havn't been a good host, I'm afraid, I hope you enjoyed the evening... I still have to report to the temple, but I guess that can wait until tomorrow...

Rahja smiles softly at Danilo. I havn't been a good host, I'm afraid, I hope you enjoyed the evening... I still have to report to the temple, but I guess that can wait until tomorrow...

All of her jewelry is present. Melchior reports that you haven't been traveling for very long, and never left the gates of Waterdeep. You instead traveled through a tunnel, heavily guarded on both sides, after which the sky was no longer dark, but instead made of stone.

Rahja falls asleep for a little while, and is jolted awake as the carriage stops and people move around. Danilo offers her his hand to help her down form the carriage. You see that there is another compartment in the carriage, with two men inside, but they do not get out. Additionally, there are two drivers in front, who get off the carriage and start tending to the horses. You are in a city in a tremendous cavern. You are pretty sure that it is Skullport, an underground city situated under Waterdeep and just above the Underdark which is known to be the center of illicit business in the region. You are in front of a tidy stone building labled "Excelsior Trading Company." One of the drivers leaves the horses and goes to the door and unlocks it.

Danilo says to Rahja "We must stop here. I have some business to attend to for a short while. Could I have the honor of your company?"

Rahja drops a curtsy. It would be a pleasure to attend. But please give me a few minutes, I must look like I've celebrated all night long, drank too much and just got up. She smirks.

Unless there is a reason to hurry, she'll head back into the coach (which should be empty now) and close the door. Once inside, she casts a silenced Prestidigitation and begins to clean herself and her stuff, and to arrange her hair, humming a happy melody meanwhile. Some minutes later, Rahja will come back out with an assured smile, move close to and link arms with Danilo. Shall we?

Mentally, she orders Melchior to stay outside and keep watch.

The other wait patiently as Rahja does this, and she walks with Danilo into the dark building. The second driver closes the door behind them.

Suddenly. the second driver, turns to Rahja and claps his hands against both her temples (36 subdual...entirely unarmored or protected by magic, opponents with power attack and high str are a BIG problem for her). Rahja sees brightly colored stars explode before her eyes, and she begins to fall over onto Danilo (save vs stunning fist = fail). He grabs he by the back of her shirt and she hangs there dazed as he clubs her twice over the head with a baton that he had quickly pulled out (26 subdual..ow, a crit with a 20/x3). He then releases her harshly, sending her staggerng helplessly forward toawrds the first driver. His fist collides with her forehead, and she blacks out completely (34 subd...another one of those pesky 20's)

Rahja wakes up with an even worse headache than last time, in a blank stone cell. Danilo stands beyond the barred doors. "Welcome!," he says.

Rahja sighs. She really wonders, why they would choose this way instead of simply binding her while she was drunk and asleep. Anyways, she was here...

Contacting Melchior mentally, she orders him to head back to the city and tell the matron what happened.

Meanwhile, she turns to Danilo. Ok, so now you have me here. What's next?

If there is an opportunity, where she is unobserved, she will cast a silenced Detect Magic, to be able to scrutinize her situation and to judge Danilo's defenses, once he's back. They shouldn't know of her spellcasting abilities yet, so she will keep them secret.

"I just stopped in to say goodbye! I'm going to miss you, really. Your were so much more fun to catch than the others...But now, I have my contract (Danilo holds up a legal-looking document which Rahja has signed) and I've had my fun (looks at Rahja lecherously) -- well, not as much as I would have likes...Happy can be such a spoilsport sometimes, but no matter...and once I trade you and the others, I'll have my weapon. And do not think that your superiors will realize what happened to you. You see, so many people saw you arrive home safely last night (smiles menacingly)"

Danilo is wearing a mitheril chain shirt that is somewaht magical, a magical ring, magical gloves, and a magical rapier.

The prison seems tobe made of stone and regular iron bars. Nothing about it appears magical.

The others are nowhere to be seen.

Rahja shakes her head dispraisingly. We could have had such a good time together, but no, you had to spoil it all, she thinks to herself.

She orders Danilo to come close to the iron bars and to show her the paper he is holding. Taking it, she lets him standing there (in touch range), so she can take him with her, should someone enter the room and force her to leave (via Dimension Door). She will be prepared for this moment at any time, continuously scanning the room!

She casts a silenced Message, no reason to arouse more attention than necessary, to communicate with him silently, followed by a silenced See Invisibility.

Oh, please take off your armor, rapier, gloves and this ring there, and show them to me for a moment, would you? And while you are at it, what other weapons are you wearing and would you please show them to me, too?

"I sought the business dea lwith the temple as a goal in itself. The prisoners are to trade for the weapon. We will be trading you to a cabal of Talonar clerics for the device."

"First I got you to sign the contracts. I had planned to drug your drink, but that turned out to be unnecessary. Then we all mostly just continued having a good time, with you outpacing us in drunkenness and generally acting silly, until I decided htat the real fun should begin. Happy did prevnt me from, er, taking you, as you say. He does not approve of mixing business and pleasure in that manner.
