AGELESS CAMPAIGN, Episode II, Part VI.

The Sultan brings her to a room where a young dark-haired woman is working on record books. He introduces her a Ela, his head of guest services, and also a cousin. Ruby is a little surprised by the woman's youth for somebody with such responsibilities at a grand hotel, appearing perhaps even younger than Ruby. Ela smiles and says excitedly, "Let us go shopping."

Ruby was pleased the girl was close to her age, she would understand much better what Ruby needed. "Pleased to meet you Ela, my name is Ruby. I hope it's not too much trouble to pull you away from work for the day."

She laughs and says, "Helping our guests IS my work. Let's go find whatever it is that you are looking for." The woman removes a large leather pouch from her desk, which from the sound contains coins, and fastens it to her belt and inside a front pocket of her tunic-style beige dress with flowing mint-green colored sheer silk sleeves. Her exit from the room and building is more of a dancer's skip than a walk and takes Ruby a few minutes to adjust to the pace.

He says, "That would be wonderful, although winter is by far not the best time of year to visit Russia. Napoleon Bonaparte discovered that. Perhaps next summer."

"Yes, after a winter visit to Russia you could start a land war in Asia. That always goes well."

Abby shivered comically. "Ugh, winter. I do not do winter. I love that my work keeps me away from winter."

OOC: I love that little Deadeye update!

.

OOC: Yes, and it only reminds me more how behind I am on some of my Story Hours. I am glad that I made tape recordings of those. My last posting was four years ago, and only half-way through Game Five which you and Lori both played in, when the team robbed the Three Gods Meeting House in Tucson (at a June 2007 Game Day).

Since then I've run three more "Seven Outlaws" games at game days. Game Seven involved the same group as above escaping into Mexico with the help of a stolen dirigible.

Games Six and Eight involved the other group of playing characters (the original team had split up in Game Three) which included Deadeye Douglas, Mae Clark and Flying Arrow, who had escaped to Europe with over a million dollars. Game Six had them trying to rob the British Crown Jewels and getting caught, with one team member betraying the others and absconding with some of the jewels.

Game Eight was the sequel to that, with the team given limited release to catch the man who betrayed them. I needed another Playing Character for that module (to replace the one they were now hunting), and since I had already introduced Callum in our module he seemed a good fit.

The other positive to that is I now have a Playing Character sheet for Callum in the event that I decide to play him in Jon's module (I haven't decided between Callum, James or Alsoomse).

"Mary Stuart felt the same way, which is why she also had the estate on the sea to the south."

Patrons have now all returned to their seats as the orchestra takes their places on the stage and the house lights dim for the final act.

"A wise woman," she said. "An estate by the sea sounds infinitely preferable to a cabin knee-deep in snow.

Of course, I haven't actually experienced it... maybe I'd change my mind if I did."

She smiled and took longer steps to keep up with the peppy girl.

"You know, I don't really know WHAT I'm looking for. Something fun and exciting, something that can remind me of my trip here. Well, something that can remind me of your beautiful city. And of course, we can never go wrong with clothes," she grinned.

"I will take you to the finest clothier in town," she replies.

OOC: Feel free to elaborate on the descriptions of the shop and clothing in your posts. Only one of us has the degree in fashion design, and it's not me.
