He replies, "Yes, and they interrupted their honeymoon to see you. Your humility is inspirational, but please, accept my hospitality."

"If you insist," she said, giving in. She followed the maitre 'd into the dining room and was seated at one of the better tables. Cal would be bringing her something to eat, but she really was starving. Perhaps just a drink and something light, to hold her over.

OOC: Just a reminder, I will have limited internet Thursday, and then will be on vacation this Sunday until the next Sunday. I'll have some internet but won't be around much.

OOC: Shameless plug for a friend. You've probably all seen this by now, but here is the information about Kevin Kulp's new RPG. The Kickstarter campaign is in its final three days. I'm toying with the idea of doing a module for it as a Play-by-Post. While I don't think any of you will want to remove your current Playing Characters from this timeline and become Time Agents, there have been a plethora of NPC's who would make prime candidates.

OOC: We already bought our copy and pitched in for Kevin! Thought. Use famous historical figures from various times as your Time Agents. Hell, go LEG and use fictional ones too. Sherlock Holmes, Indiana Jones, Joan of Arc, Leonardo da Vinci would all make amazing agents, indeed maybe they already are.......

OOC: SM - Do you have a link for the post where you gave out XP last time? I never actually applied it to Abby, so I'll need to add it when you give out XP next time.

I'm really struggling with what class I would use to advance Abby... Not sure if I want to go further down a magical path, which really gives you NOTHING else, or maybe move into something like Rogue, which gives some fighting skills and a wide range of other skills.

Neferka says, "As I said before, the two of you will always be welcome here. Well now, we've taken care of bathing, clothing and food. I suppose we should be heading back to the Grand Hotel so that I can see how your intended has progressed with his negotiations."

"Yes, it would be nice to have him back to myself. Hopefully negotiations have gone smoothly and as you desired." Ruby began packing up her belonging. "Though I did think to order some home furnishings. Do you need me with you Nerfeka? It sounds like you may have a little more business to attend to."

Wouldn't the magical path give you more spells?

OOC: Yes, but you get almost NOTHING else as a Wizard. Base Attack Bonus goes up really slowly, and Wizards get crap for Skill points and have an extremely limited skill list. I think it's only 2 + Int points. That's why I created her multi-classed with an NPC class. I could not make an academic with the pathetic Wizard skills.

And I don't want to make her unable to defend herself physically without spells, which is what eventually happens to a straight-classed Wizard.

If you want to be able to defend yourself without spells, then yeah, choosing a different class would be better. I also have two classes to level up and have been trying to decide what to do. It's difficult to use my bardic skills in a lot of these circumstances but luckily I am saved my luck that first day we rolled up characters.

For you, a female Indiana Jones definitely has lots of different and varied skills!

OOC: That's kind of what I'm going for at this point... So I'll probably continue to multi-class. I wish there was something like Bard that wasn't based on performance. But all the special powers are performance based, making it inappropriate for me. I could multi-class with something like Ranger, but again, Ranger is really not the right flavor. I'll figure something out, and in the end it's not really that important. I just get a little frustrated with how inflexible the class system can be.
