AGELESS CAMPAIGN, Episode II, Part VI.

"Lieutenant Colonel, you are absolutely right. But bear in mind these men were in the dirigible that held the Queen and her husband. They are now in a hurry to go somewhere. If we try to capture or stop them now, we choose the time and place. If we let them go, they choose it.
Neferka says, "Those men killed my father and brothers, I cannot allow them to escape. We will do whatever we can to prevent them from doing any more harm to my country. And yes, they appear to be in a hurry, but while I command this Chairot, we can travel up to fifty-percent faster than they can. That gives us the advantage. We are now approximately twenty miles north of Heliopolis and thirty from Cairo, which at their current speed would bring them to those locations in ten and fifteen minutes."

"That said, unless someone can throw me down there so I can go hand to hand with them, there is nothing I can do from up here. I find going hand to hand with them disturbingly appealing."
OOC: In an interesting happenstance, both of my games appear to now be in similar places. While the plot details are very different, each party finds some but not all of their members now in the midst of a pair of very powerful enemies. In both cases the party has total surprise on their side, but realize that any misstep could easily result in a TPK, as well as the death of individuals they are committed to protect. I absolutely love it when the players are facing this level of challenge.

Steve and Jon, neither of you have playing characters currently with this group, but there are four NPC's between Hassan, Freya, Mina and Neferka, so please feel free to jump in.

"Is it just me, or are many of the French spellslingers also artists? Makes me wonder if the other way 'round is also true. We'll have to keep that in mind. Anyway here's our ride." The floating dirigible lands in front of the group. Lawrence and George assists the others boarding the craft. He makes his way to the pilot. "To Gizah. Be ready to pick up another passenger."

The pilot asks "Who are we looking for, sir?"

Lawrence replies, "I'm not sure. He may be in disguise. But we'll know him when we see him."

As the airship makes its way over the Egyptian forces, a man waves from the throng. "There he is. Pilot, set her down."

That being said I don't want to half ass an answer - we're on a mini vacation until Sunday night. If I have a moment that isn't rushed or I'm not exhausted like I am now, I'll get a post up.

Which is your other game, your table game or another Pbp? That's really interesting!

OOC: Okay, I'm confused. Who are you picking up?

OOC: That's fine, I've been away with the scouts for the past several days myself.

OOC: My table game. They're in an arctic environment, looking to rescue townsfolk captured and enslaved to work a platinum mine by a pair of ancient White dragons. They've decided that the dragons need taken out first, but do not have their powerhouse fighters along on this mission.

OOC: Whoops. That made more sense in my head. We're picking Cal up. I assumed he was with the Egyptian forces.
OOC: He is, but he is already with the dirigible, as he was the one who stopped it from drifting off. He would probably also be the one currently piloting it (or forcing the French pilot at gunpoint).

Of the four dirigibles, this remaining one is the smallest, with a gondola capacity of only a half-dozen people. George, Lawrence, Fish and Callum prepare to depart, with the Frenchman Guizot lying tied and bound on the floor of the gondola.
OOC: I think that is it, but let me know if you want any other NPC's along.

Neferka says, "So do we try to get ahead of them to set up something at Heliopolis or Cairo, or attempt to stop them here?"
