D&D 5E Agents of the Afterlife: Etherist

Hello and welcome to my next class called the Etherist. Imagine Martial frontline fighters using Spiritual Energy to deal more damage and resist magic effects in battle.

The Etherist would have some abilities like Unarmed strikes using strength instead of dexterity and dealing additional damage using Spirit strikes.

Their Hit Die size is 1d10

Unarmored Spirit Shield = Armor Class = 10 + Constitution modifier + Charisma modifier.

The Etherist would be able to use their spirit energy equal to their Charisma modifier to perform amazing feats, afterwards they would need a long rest to recover.

Like Paladins, they can use their divine sense once per long rest to search the area for Celestials, Fiends and Undead.

Would it be too much to give them one spell to cast?

This class is intended to be original and bring something new to Dungeons and Dragons. Please let me know what you think.
