Go to ScummVM.org and download their program. It is made so that all LA games can run on a computer without a problem. You have correct graphics and working sound. You can even resize the screen size and apply some smoothing to the graphics.

I suspect ironically enough that it is because of the British series "UFO", which X-Com was clearly based on.

Dark Sun 2 is finishable... barely.
I should know I have both the dark sun cds (never saw the third version) and have finished them both. Good games, poor production.

Yeah, I remember when I got my 40" tv at the same time I got the first season of UFO. My roomates were all like "Oh, big tv. WOW you've got UFO on DVD!!!"

Commander Straker was one really hard assed guy. You just don't see characters like him these days.
