Sure, but those mostly involve doing the same things that you would if you didn't go to the LLM in the first place. :P
No, see, I use the same prompt on 4 or 5 LLMs, so I can weed out the misinformation! It's just like the strategy of posting the same question on 4 or 5 message boards, but this way I don't have to talk to people!

That’s enough effort that you might as well just look it up yourself from a reputable source.

Not tried that. Might be interesting. Or probably better would be copying the response and asking for an accuracy check from a different LLM.

That can be tricky, too. I find myself spending a lot of time researching websites and authors.
Well that's the problem isn't it? If you get so used to using LLMs to get information, you start to lose the knowledge that we all used to have of where to go for good information. We used to know this stuff. It's like a skill that's atrophying. You lose the basic ability to look things up because you no longer know how.

I guess my main problem with LLMs is that, I can't use the method I normally use to get the correct answer for things. Normally, I create a fresh account on a relevant forum, post my question, and then log in with a different completely new account and post a confident incorrect answer. Then I wait for people to correct me. But LLMs don't actually know anything, so they still don't know which answer is correct.

It's sad how legit this technique is.
