All 3 movies in one showing

I live in the Twin Cities, and am wondering how many hours/days you all think I'd need to wait in line to get a ticket?

Or, how long would you be willing to be in line where you live?

Kara likes to stop and ask questions during the movies so DVD is definitely the way to go when getting her prepped for RotK. :)

Dear lord, I am sooo glad that my small town of Springfield *somehow* made it onto the list. It's only like 15 min away from home, although I'm not sure how the next day at school would be ;)

SWEET. Theater that I frequent 10 minutes away will have it. I will be taking off work that day even if I have to call in dead.

There will more certainly be a break in between each of the films. I saw a Star Trek marathon (1-5) in the theater and they gave us about 20 minutes between each film to get up, stretch out, buy more stuff, use the restroom, grab a smoke, etc. Besides, they have to change the prints between movies so everyone wins. :)

Plan on being there all day. I suggest sneaking in a few cans of your favorite soft drink and a few sandwiches. It will be cold be then so just wear a bulky jacket and have your girlfriend bring a big purse, this is of course unless you are a female - in that case bust out that big purse you've been wanting to try out as a makeshift picnic basket. :p It'll be well worth it.

Hmm. I guess everyone over 30 will be stocking up on anti-diarrheal meds and adult diapers so they can eat all the jumbo-sized popcorn and soda (refills free) and not use the bathroom for 10 hours. :p

Unless of course, the theater will be replacing the stadium seating with windowed porta-potties.

Brilliant idea... :D

I see Aventura, Fl is on the list. About 30-40minutes away (with the crappy Miami traffic), but I see myself rotting away that day as well.... :)

So, do you think if I started a charity thread, you guys would help me pay to come over from England and see that? :D

Oh well, I'll just have to settle for watching it the day it comes out, like normal.

I don't plan on spending any time at all waiting in line--I'll buy my tickets on the internet. Any time spent "waiting" will be spent playing Warcraft. :D

Tickets go on sale on Oct. 9 - that's next Thursday. Sweet!
