Yeah, I am so there! I'm treating the family to an all-day showing with that, if we can get someone to babysit the young one.

Well I'm in along with several people from my gaming group.

Based on 4 hour run times for the first 2 with 20-30 min betweeen showing plus possibly a smaller break in the middle of each film to change film; I'm guessing a start time around 3pm local to have RTOK start at midnight.

BTW - do we have any x / current theater workers here to confirm or deny the following?

I worked with someone that told me that the "Film Tables" (not sure of the exact word) most theaters use will only hold a little over 3 hours worth of film and that the first film was pushing this limit with out extra scenes. Which makes me belive they will have to break each film in to 2 loads so they will fit on the film tables.

Any thoughts?

Hey JDragon, you going to the Regal in Dublin? I've got a big group going to that. We need to put together an East Bay EN Worlder Day Out or something, a little meet-and-greet during the intermissions.

BTW, I don't know much about these film tables, but as movies lately have routinely pushed the three hour mark (I think that Gods and Generals movie topped 4 hours) I don't think it will be that big a deal. It could also be that they'll show each movie in a separate theater, thus forcing you to get out of your seat and walk by their concession stand.

I think a new topic in the main forum would be good when we get closer to the date.

Thats my plan, plus I have a friend at work that has someone that lives close by that can purchase them in person tomorrow if for some reason Fandango has issues.

Just got my 4 tickets! It looks like everyone tried to buy at once, though. There were about 10 minutes of panic when I kept getting browser errors trying to log in to the ticket outlet.
