Ack, I just now got around to checking this again. Shade, are these true dragons with age categories?

EDIT: Okay, I checked all of these except the Beljuril (which, IIRC, is a true dragon, so I added it to the list), and only the Bestiary and Cobra (after a fashion) dragons were true dragons, so I added them to the list.

Also, Shade, you forgot to mention how issue #96 had the "What's New?" dragon.

plus the Greyhawk Dragon from #339. :)

I added the notation, but since the Greyhawk dragon and Steel dragon are two different names for the same creature, I just had the entry read "Steel/Greyhawk Dragon" and listed the magazine and then the website.

they were once two separate creatures... (steel dragon was from FR) are they still now the same critter?

Yep. Their entry in Dragon #339 says that on planes other than Greyhawk, they're called Steel dragons.

ah, ok. once upon a time in 2E, the steel dragon was from FR (Draconomicon) and Greyhawk was from that world's MC. i have no idea if the stats were different, but i'm sure that once upon a time they were considered wholly separate and distinct.

I removed the list on the preceding page; having multiple lists could be confusing for casual readers, particularly when some of them aren't updated. Shade, if you wouldn't mind also deleting that quote from me, that'd be great. Thanks for getting all that back though! I was worried about having to look up and retype all of those critters. ;)

EDIT: Added the Air, Cerilian, and Sand dragons.

As an aside, did you guys notice that, according to the planar dragon sources sidebar in Dragon #344, Arcadia is the only Outer Plane without a true dragon? And what's more, the Nine Hells is the only one with a non-true dragon (the hellfire wyrm from the MM2).

Thanks for that. I'll add in the Air, Cerilian, and Sand dragons, but the Frost and Gray dragons are from a third-party source, so they're a no-go.

I have removed the quote of what I'd reclaimed. Looking back through this thread, I'd recommend we start a new one so Alzrius's updated list is the first post.

Any objections?

In my search for booze (D&D booze), I found this dragon which does not appear to be listed:

Gaumahavi, Greater Purple Dragon (Black Courser - FRA2)

Is this a specific individual, or an actual new type of dragon?
