All The Different Types of Dragons

*sigh* The Weredragon is now called the Song Dragon, it is a true dragon, it can be found in Monsters of Faerûn™.

Good catch, but why the sigh? Is it because I missed the renaming of the weredragon, or because I couldn't resist adding to this list?

While I'm here, I don't think the pocket dragon has been mentioned yet. That seems to have first appeared in the D&D module X6 Quagmire! and most recently in the 1993 version of the D&D Creature Catalog (DMR2).

Of course, now I'm half-expecting Krishnath to point out that the pocket dragon has appeared again in print since then under a new name...

Also, wanted to add the ectoplasmic dragon.

From Dragon #170, there's the nickel dragon, tungsten dragon, cobalt dragon, chromium (chrome) dragon, and iron dragon.

It'd be cool if we could get all of them consolidated into a single post, also.
