Alternate Elementalists

My DM is looking for an Elementalist PrC for his campaign but the Elemental Savant in Tome & Blood doesn't really tug his trigger, so to speak. What alternatives exist, be it in print or on the web? He feels the Savant is too focused on evocations and turning into an elemental, Something with more summoning and/or transmutation effects is what I think he is looking for.

AEG's book Magic has an Elementalist in it, and Mongoose has a full book on Elementalism.

Actually, I drew up plans for an elementalist core class once (based on the Cleric), but never got it finished. maybe I will, later this week.
