Big Dick told me it was causing him heart palpitations so he had to cut back.Storm Raven said:Yes. As a matter of fact, you are the only person on the planet who feels that way. Dick Cheney called me the other day just to tell me that he found the myriad of options contained in the Eberron setting to be exhilirating.

Talking Apes are easy. Open up Stormwrack and look up the stats on Hadozee. Considering all the water around, they'd fit in well.ssampier said:We have the winner.
I think almost all of those can be found in Eberron (not sure about the talking apes, though).
Reynard said:I think it is more of an issue of you having in your mind meanings for those terms ("Dark Fantasy" notwithstanding, since Eberron isn't and has never, to my knowledge, been described as such outside this thread) that aren't really what they mean.
The features that most set Eberron apart are its tone and attitude. The setting combines traditional midieval fantasy with pulp action and dark adventure.
The campaign combines traditional midieval D&D fantasy with swashbuckling action and dark adventure.
I see what you're getting at, but a better analogy might be the Hindenberg. You know explosive gas makes for a nice airship, but every now and then things can go horribly wrong! Certainly wizards who use magic on an every day basis also know things can go horribly wrong. It only took one catastrophic accident to end the dirigible era forever...cignus_pfaccari said:If you've ever lived in a high-rise, do you ever worry about what happens if the foundation subsides and the building falls over? Or the laws of physics that allow it subtly change?
