amalgam, the blending of two or more universes, creating one whole different universe in which established characters can take on strange and new roles.
i write crossover fanfics or rather amalgam fanfics in my spare time.
In these stories, i've blended dc comics (the shadow), buffy the vampire slayer elements, angel elements, marvil comics, highlander, various fantasy elements, stargate, star-wars, mortal kombat and the mummy to name a few. (it works strangely enough).
The stories detail the adventures of a half-dragonlord, half-god (daughter of rayden, reincarnation of a child of isis and osiris) who has to duck the various potshots from hell (she made herself real popular down there at one time) and commit acts of general do-gooderism.
i figure that might work in a D&D game, because of her tendency to get killer headache induced visions and go haring off to solve the problems said visions bring.
