Maybe I am just an idiot, but I honestly cannot figure out what is even being sold for $600k! What is an "original computer game" anyway? And if it is some type of prototype or something, how can he offer 2 "in stock"?? I am confused.

Seriously, I just had this idea that it's all an audacious case of selling something very illegal and hiding it in plain sight.

You've forgotten about inflation. In 2030, a quarter will only be worth $0.25, but it'll cost $1.50.
