Actually, Green Slime is THE classic encounter. In the older modules, from low to high level, this lifeform was nearly always present somewhere and I am very glad it is in the DMG for it is a creature deserving the position. However, it is overlooked very easily. I use Green Slime pretty regularly and from traps to missles it is one of the best party killers you will ever find.........."Slime em, boys!"wedgeski said:Thanks for replies! green_slime provided exactly what I was looking for.![]()

Nice rewrite! Sometimes but mine have been kept pretty well. 1st Edition AD&D and D&D is an important part of history and I occasionally find things needing something pulled up from their depths.......And Green Slime was there and when more recent things leave it out I sometimes add it anyway....usually the players never encounter it unless my little green X on the maps is disturbed!
