D&D 5E An Adventure Path for 5e and Scenario with legends like Ed Greenwood, Rich Redman and many others

They got the pre-launch page full open including comments (which is very unusual for Kickstarter projects so it seems they are really betting on its quality) and seems to be addressing those, even make minor adjustments already to the page. Here: Tanares RPG - 5e — Kickstarter

Also, congrats to the publisher if here, it became the most popular upcoming project on all Kickstarter. Strongly considering to back it on day one and get the free huge dragon. I started in dnd all way back with Greenwood´s Forgotten Realms and am such a big fan of Nesmith/Skyrim.
Well, I’m not talking about minor adjustments ro the KS page, but somewhat significant redesign of probably all the monsters. I’ll see if there is a comment section on the KS preview page. I didn’t see one at first glance.

however, I agree that overall it seems like an amazing project.

That's an interesting criticism, is there any way to send that feedback to the authors as well, it might inspire them to greater effort in this area...
There preview page has the ability to leave comments if you have a Kickstarter loging. I do, so I echoed the complaints about the monster design. Hopefully they have time to make some changes. Since the PDF deliver is not until March of 2022, they should have time improve them a bit. They don't need much, just a little bit can go a long way.

I checked out the preview and I must say the product seems too-notch. Probably even better than WotC. The art, the layout, the graphics look great. My one issue so far is the monster design seems uninspired. For example, the dragon previewed is just a reskinned MM dragon with the same boring actions. Nothing to differentiate it from any other dragon except it’s breathweapon. This carries through to the rest of the monsters previewed IMO. On the other hand, the NPC “monsters” are interesting and inventive. I would like to see that care extended to the regular monster stat blocks .
Thank you for the feedback. Our team will improve the monsters. In the specific case of the Penumbral Dragon, there is an interesting thing: As the save is wisdom, it changes the logic of the breath defenses and may punish the Rogue and other heroes that deal better with it.

I get that, but I would strongly recommend coming up with some more interesting legendary actions and maybe a trait or two.
And thank you for the response!

Hi!

The monsters on the adventure sample are a bit more on the simple side as it was an introductory material for the overall community to learn about our setting.
They were not supposed to be complicated by design. We included some minor abilities focused more on creating some fun role play then something for complex tactical combat.

Some of our monsters have very unique combat abilities and strategies, yet we want to keep them simple enough to be used by new and experienced DMs alike.

We are always looking to improve our product and be sure that we are taking your feedback with great importance.

Thank you for the response. I will just continue to suggest looking to make more engaging monsters. Many times all the need is one extra trait for action. Also, legendary actions (dragons) are already more complex, so I strongly recommend that you do not skimp on legendary monsters.
PS I am excited to see where this project goes.
