That would work, if items/magics/feat substitutions were allowed, which they're not. You've only got your common tabby/persian/alley cat/various breeds (superficial variants) and one standard MM Ancient Red Dragon.

Come on guys, one or more of you gaming strategists can figure this out!

Easy: lets have the dragon sunken/flooded under a tsunami of 10 billion of cats, and die under the sheer weight of it and the suffocation under the mass of crushed cat-flesh that goes into his lung because of the intense pressure.

Well, if I rained a whole bunch of cats from the stratosphere so they each do 20d6 damage and they each did the average damage, then 11.

If you went with virtually impossible and went with maximum damage, you could do it with 5.

Average of what, 70 damage? Minus DR, that's about 55 damage.

But, would the dragon be aware, would flying help avoid them in any fashion?
