humm at 4th level you lean one more wizard cantrip...

can it be learning cantrips is not like learning spells (finding in spell book) or is it a freebee?

edit:

never mind, seems you learn as many as your Int Bonus, you start with three and get 1 when your int bonus becomes +4, and get +1 for being an elf

I assume the discrepancy between int mod (+3) and cantrips known (4) is because it's the high-elf ability?

Yeah that was the first thing I noticed. I guess they unified the "special vision" mechanic for PCs. Makes some sense I suppose, but I don't recall anyone complaining about that as an issue in the past.

High elf wizard... evocation specialist... little experience dealing with people on a casual basis... uses polysyllabic words that convey the impression of erudition. I'm surprised they bothered to list out elf names. They could just have put "Vaarsuvius" and left it at that.
