I've only seen a couple episodes, but I kinda like Conner. Time to start getting the DVD box sets.

Wow. Kick me where it counts!

Ya know, this is one of the "mediocre" Angel eps of late and it was still damn entertaining. That last scene was just chilling: Jasmine getting hacked to bits and healing right away while laughing the whole time. Nice. And don't get me wrong about the mediocre comment, this show's worst outing would equal other shows best eps ever.

Indeed. Medicore by Angel standards is far and way BETTER than half the shows out there. The end just after Jasmine was "feeling" was pretty righteous too. I was like "Dude this is SO Mordor!" (But yeah her getting sliced and diced and NOT dying and yet laughing. That was pretty damn disturbing.)

Also like the fact these guys don't use "word magic" but blood magic. Tells us something about Jasmine herself. I am curious though just WHAT the hell is she. Certainly got more "oomph" than Glory did being a god. Course Glory could take down the National Guard without breaking a sweat...

I was pretty impressed.

I liked the critter in the sewers. He was creepy and way cool. I liked his constant insults against the humans, and how he kept trying to kill the one vampire

Major thumbs up. I'm looking forward to next week already.

Yeah, the different kinds of magic are cool (makes me think of Monte's upcoming AU). Adds some flavor to the show.

That National Guard comment is interesting. Glory could wipe them out but Jasmine has brought them to their collective knees and made them serve her. Joss has officially topped himself. Good show.

Guess it's just the difference in goddesses. I mean really which is more powerful, a goddess of servitude, order and evil, or a destructive insane one that can wipe the floor with mortals? Kind of not much difference for the mortals involved.
