Angel (April 9) Spoilers

Adam Baldwin is awesome!

and Nathan Fillion is great too, although everytime I see him on screen I think of Two guys, a girl, and a Pizza Place ... (hilarious show by the way)

And how'd Fred shake off the spell? I'm thinking that it was the obsessive-compulsive behavior she was displaying over the sweater. She asked the guy in the hospital if he'd ever been in the psych ward before...maybe she has a theory on it.

It's Jasmine?s blood. Think back to the vamp that cut her, it ran out of the bowling alley and ran into and knocked over the guy at the outdoor restaurant, and if you pay attention you?ll notice blood on the guys shirt from where the vamp?s right hand touched his shirt. Now Fred spent quite a bit of time trying to clean Jasmine?s ruined shirt, the one covered in her blood. The blood is the only thing I noticed them having in common before seeing through J?s obfuscate.

I would have. But the only VCR was in the living room which is also where we entertained my guest.

Stinking guests! Who do they think they are?

At least you didn't have to wactch the Flyers stink the FU Center up, I hope.

Uhm an old friend that I don't see that often and I won't see for some time now that he's off to spend most of his time in Poland. But I do wish I had been able to spend time watching Angel.

And no I didn't get to see the Flyers stink up the FU Center. (Which is a slight blessing but still, would have like to seen the game.)

The way it started out, I was thinking "This is cheesey..." but by the end, it was more like, "This is creepy..." Very nice overall. Poor Fred. Anyone else yell at her to run for her life after she told Wes her thoughts? :)

I agree with the others that the first half was a little slow but the second half really picked up. It's ironic to note that the jasmine flower smells great and looks pretty but it's also poisonious if eaten.

I think they only showed the face once the whole episode. The first time fred saw. And I about flipped backward off the couch, even though I expected her to look all evil, because I didn't know it was coming right then. Even later, when fred was looking at Jasmine, they just showed Gina Torres. Which made it more disturbing, because with repetition you'd get used to it seeing it really. Just imagining it, it gets worse every time I mentally see it. Ugh. And every time they showed the normal lady, you're imagining the face. Bloody brilliant cinematography, really. Less is indeed more.

I enjoyed the whole episode. It was the suspense... I kept thinking, "when the s*** hit's the fan, it's gonna hit hard". It was really creepy how much power Jasmine has to make everyone total slaves (maybe it was her influence on Cordy that helped to make Connor the puppet protector).
