Angel (April 9) Spoilers

Good point... so how will Fred convert Angel? It's got to be something to do with Angeles and pure happiness...

But the real question is, when are they gonna kill Connor already? I want that boy to get his comeuppins...

Yea with the blood...I think Fred did look at her after she'd touched the blood...although maybe not. Also are we sure that the vampire got blood on the guy?
I dont really think its insanity although thats a neat idea...Angel wouldnt be on of the ones to come out of it if that was the case.
And the failing thing....well angel has already thought that and it didnt have the effect.
If its any of those its the blood but I dont know...I dont think they've given it away yet.

Could be that it's necessary that her blood mixes with yours to break through her glamour. As I recall, knife-guy got roughed up a bit by the vampire before Angel got to him, and Fred said something about cleaning Jasmine's shirt until her hands bled.

Didn't the guy in the psyche-ward also mention something about being called? Or was that a figment of his imagination?

Have to watch it again.

He did, but Fred didn't go loopy like that as well so I'd say it's an individual thing. Plus he probably hadn't seen anything like it before, where as Fred?s life is about dealing with such things.

I don't think I taped over the episode yet so maybe I should watch it again to see if it clears anything up.

just rewatched the episode last nite. there was deffinitely no blood on the shirt of the busboy who got knocked over by the vamp and who then subsequently attacked Jasmine.

there were however, three holes in his shirt, and on second viewing, it seemed really deliberate, the way the vamp dug his fingers into the guy's shirt. and yes it was the same hand that swiped Jaz.

so perhaps Staffan has a point about the blood having to mix to break the spell. unless of course the comment Fred made about "till [her] hands bled" might have been metaphoric ... tho i don't buy that.

on a side note, i started watching Buffy's third season yesterday, and in one of the feature interviews, a producer/writer commented that their biggest challenge is outsmarting their fans, who he credited as some of the most intelligent and intuitive in TV. so give yourselves a hand! ;)

and on the note on the ... other side (:p) in case you forgot: new Buffy and Smallville eps tonite.

Firefly was a short-lived sci-fi series by Joss Whedon, starring among others Nathan Fillion and Gina Torres (who are both guest starring on Buffy/Angel now). It's a bit of a space-western - there was a major civil war recently (10 years ago or so), and the main characters were on the losing side and are now small-time smugglers/criminals trying to make a dishonest living. Very colorful characters, smart and witty speech, interesting twists, no aliens, and all around goodness.

Unfortunately, it got stuck in the time slot of death (Friday nights at 8 pm or something like that), and thus its ratings sucked. Therefore, it was cancelled after about half a season.
