Angel Season Finale (Spoilers)

Freakin' A, dude!

Thus ends the best season of any show I've ever watched. Including Season 3 of Buffy.

So freakin' good. I wasn't expecting what happened with Connor, and I was just about wiping away tears when I understood it.

One question, though. Was I hallucinating, or was the limo driving Angel to see Connor driving on the left side of the road? Granted, I've drunk a lot of champagne tonight (getting married in three days, I got an excuse), but it sure looked to me as if it were.

If so, what's the dealio? Is Connor being raised in an American-accented British Isle? Or was it an Eldritch Limo from Beyond, which manifests its powers partially through driving on the wrong side of the road?

If I was hallucinating, my apologies.

Jamdin,

I hope your source is right. TV Guide Programming on my Adepheila(sp) cable system indicated it was still up in the air. But yeah it's nice they got rid of Conner AND yet didn't destroy his character. Btw did anyone think it was utter cool of Wes to try and redeem Lilah like he did? I know it was pointless but I thought it proved how much I've come to LIKE Wes and his growth. But the whole "What's the deal with the Panther and Gunn" leaves a LOT of speculation for next season. (Prays the Divine hears this one...SAVE ANGEL!!!)

Piel,

Maybe it was just the way they shot it...but you weren't half off. I thought they were driving the wrong way. Btw I think it's just that Conner is now an American boy and they just shot it wrong.

There's a lot of unanswered questions, but I do hope WB sees fit to return Angel for next season.

I expect we'll find out Monday, which is the big day for networks to make their final decisions for these shows.

Plus the fact I have a feeling if my source is to be believed (and so far he's one for one in regards to Angel), Angel will be the ONLY champion left on the globe. At least superhuman wise.

That's an interesting rumor, although it conflicts with another one that a certain someone from Buffy may be moving over to Angel. Then again, I doubt that very much has been finalized for next season, since they still don't know if there WILL be one.

But I think it's probably more likely Charisma Carpenter's out of a job.

Hmmm. I could see that. If one of the females has to go, I definitely want Fred to stay. Amy Acker is hot!

Buffy finale spoiler-----------------------------

Chunz,
I expect so. I pray that there was enough interest to keep the show on. (God SAVE me from Dawson's Creek!)

In regards to the rumor I heard, apparently ALL the Slayer go dormant until 2012. Then all hell breaks loose and the Second Darkness of Mankind begins. But if you heard something different wouldn't surprise me.

Yeah but I've had a crush on Cordy (love/hate thing) since she
came to Angel. But Amy IS pretty hot.

In regards to the limo - I bet there's a very simple explanation, though I don't know how to check it. It's a simple manner in post-production for an image to be "flipped". I bet the editor just thought that it looked better with the car going from left to right then vice versa...

Angel was great. I do like how they wrapped up the Conner issue. We all know something won't work out right at W&H.
The D&D comment was cute.

While I would not say Angel is the BEST show on TV (does not compare to Alias and I like Smallville a little better but not much) it is a great show and I hope it gets picked up again.

Doug,

Agreed. Angel may not be the best ever, but it's a great show and deserves to be seen more until people DON'T want to watch it any more. (Tell that to ER however, or the Pratice.)

I hope that is not a Buffy finale spoiler of any kind... :(

I guess I'm in the minority here. While I felt alright about what they did with Connor on a personal level, on a critical level it seemed a little too deus ex machina. However the specifics are left off camera, so I'm sure, assuming the show goes on, it won't just be left at that.

The D&D comment was pretty funny, but the funnier thing is that that was the vamp (well, the actor who played the vamp) whom Buffy dusts in Conversations with Dead People. Whoops...

That would be the most ridiculous plot ever. If something like this happens, I'll be watching Gilmore Girls instead :D . Too bad Angel's the only thing on in that timeslot...
