Angelfire at Origins: pictures of all 60 minis

Except that the link seems to show all Angelfire minis, and there's just that one copper dragon.

Denote that word Kae'yoss. SEEMS to show, not necessarily means EVERYTHING got shown.

Underdark will have a Shadow/Deep Dragon (I'm still not sure which is shown on the booster), and I suspect it to have a dracolich variant, too, and maybe even a third.

Most people think it's Deep dragon. If you look at the cover and then the picture in Monsters of Faerun, you'll see why. Draco-lich is a possibility...but I'm doubtful about that. Vampiric is also a possibility.

Large White will probably not be seen for quite some time, as we already have a large white zombie dragon. The Medium Silver, on the other hand, will come sooner or later - in fact, there already is a medium silver, as a promo for that children book series of Wizards' (Knights of the Silver Dragon), and those promos will find their way into the regular sets sooner or later.

See Mina and now more likely Gwen in Underdark for examples.

I'd like to see a bronce, too, either medium or large (since we only had that one as wyrmling). I also want another black one (maybe templated - black dracolich would rock).

Eh. Large Black would be more, in my mind, likely than a templated Black one. But to each his own.

Well this is why I buy from IconUSA. They never steer me wrong when it comes to buying the minis I want. I've never had much luck with dragons either. But Behirs man... I got two sitting right here. Not sure I'd trade something for the extra but it's always a consideration.

I've already picked out the worst figures in the set to see what I"ll be getting. To give you an idea of my luck, out of approx. 60 boosters bought, I have never pulled a single dragon. Out of 4 Deathknell boosters bought, I have pulled 3 ambush drakes.:\

The Target near my work had a couple of Aberrations boosters, so I picked those up, and got a pair of Medium Green Dragons.

We do have 60 minis listed there. Of course, it can always be that they put something from a future set there instead of an Angelfire miniature, but I don't think so.

I compared the booster with the pictures from both deep and shadow dragon, and I must say that the booster picture looks like something between shadow and deep.

And who doesn't LOVE the feral minotaur?

Me. I don't have minotaurs in my world. I've got a GoL minotaur and minotaur skeleton I still need to put up on EBay. Of course, I don't have drow, either. Or Beholders.

I like the troll, though. I could really use one, being a late-comer to the minis gig.

Overall, I think I like this set better than many. I really, really want the djinni, the efreeti, and the slaad.

I will agree on that. Nothing "wow", but a lot of "servicible" or "nice" minis.

I like the skeletal archer. I'd also like to get the Djinni and the Efreeti in case I ever run an Al-Qadim game again. I bet they're rare, though.

I bought 1 case of Deathknell, and the beholder was in the last box I opened. *whew!*

...But at the time beholders were available on pre-order for $50. Now I think you can get them for around $20-$30 on e-bay.
