many people around here are quite religious and probably don't appreciate being called zealots or right wing (in fact many left wing people hold a belief in angels and sentient good and evil). So perhaps if you weren't slinging around insults you might get some more useful answers...

I wasn't slinging around insults, nor was I calling anyone of a religious nature a zealot. Nor did I say I didn't believe in them. BUT.... Try doing a blind search on google for Angels or Demons and you'll see what I mean when I say there is some weird stuff out there. I think I even somehow managed to pull up a Heaven's Gate website too. Weee!

And silly people, I know that Paradise Lost (though that is a superb idea, and I'm running right out to the library tomorrow)and such are not Campaign settings....I meant the Steve Jackson games. Next time I'll be more careful as to what I post. Heh.

(As Serge mentioned) Gustav Davidsons A Dictionary of Angels is the book to get.

Also Fred Gettings Encyclopedia of the Occult is very useful in general.
